Has anyone actually found dye bottles in the game?

Aside from the dye bottles you get when you first enter the enclave with a new character, has anyone actually found any dye packs or bottles later on in the game? I always see this message on the load up screen, and still have yet to find any, if it's even possible to find any.

I'm just curious really.

    yeah, I have never seen a dye bottle drop from any mob anywhere.

    thankfully now we can make them with alchemy.

    I've never seen any drop or found any in chests.

    I think it could be that at one point in an early build (maybe alpha) dyes did drop/were in chests and the loading screen tip was just never changed. Could also be that the loading screen tip is using the word "travels" in a manner that most players won't be perceiving it as, such as travelling to the zen shop or during your travels meaning at level 1 in your travel to the mailbox.

    You can craft them with Alchemy.

    Well 5 limited colour sets (the current class colours)

    & really really hideous dye sets are being handed out for lighting a few fireworks atm (closest I've see to questing for them)

    No there do not seem to be any that drop from anyplace.

    You need to read past the double speak. It says you might find dyes. No where does it say that you'll loot dyes.

    . . . . . I looted a couple dyes, it has been quite a while though since. I don't remember where I was, just remember looting them. I want to say it was in Clock Tower, but I honestly cannot remember... it could have been Orc Assault. IIRC, one was blue and the other was green, single dyes. Both were from different chests (not boss chests or reward chests, they were the hidden chests that you find in missions), so it was probably Clock Tower or something with loot-able chests in same region. (In alpha/beta, I remember looting a couple on the ground, they looked like potions.)

    It does rather sound like something that used to be in the loot tables but isn't anymore.

    I am almost positive there have been no dye drops since the beginning of OB. I have heard tell of some in Alpha/CBW.

    I mostly find dye bottles when I travel to the auctioneer.
    Use the <removed exploit lead-in> to interact with the auction vendor.

    I look at it this way... I have 4 60's and 1 character at 58. I do the regular quest chains almost exclusively, and other than quests that specifically reward blue items, I've had exactly 1 blue item just drop randomly from an enemy, (I'm not counting epic dungeons for this purpose).

    Yeah... they may drop, but it's probably such a low chance that almost nobody has ever seen them. Of course, it could also be like others have said - that they used to be part of the loot tables some time ago...

    me 2 , i only have had 1 blue item (neck) drop after farming 144 L59 assassin drow ( not counting epic dungeons).
    i have never seen a dye drop, (few players asking 4green dye in chat, so if any1 has 1 u get good gold for it).........

    I had two drop during CB, both within minutes of each other in the Neverdeath Graveyard. I haven't seen any since that.

    Nope. never seen one. I was just remarking on it the other day after reading the Loading text about how they can drop.

    You can get them as a quest rewards for special event quests. I just got the july 4th special dye packs

    I don't think I've seen the single dye bottles drop at all since the end of open beta. They *did* drop from mobs and skill nodes way back then, but I've not seen them since.

    i looted some also in the early levels but i think only 3 after that i never found any other again XD
    Everything works out in the end . If it hasn't worked out yet, it isn't the end...

    I got some early on, a pink, green and blue one. Can't remember where. On a side note about alchemy being able to dyes. Is level 5 the max for alchemy right now, I don't seem to be able to move past that.

    Level 20 is the max for alchemy. My main is already at level 17. Just don't hit 'collect result' on the gain experience task via the gate way, only do it in game (it's bugged and leaves you unable to advance levels).

    yeap! i saw a dye drop the other day.. drop from a GWF pocket in town.. went directly to AH xD
