Profession List sometimes blanks out

I don't know why, but sometimes my whole list of available profession options completely disappears (in game and gateway) except for the Rare items.

I checked the filers and had none active. I tried changing zones, re-logging but I can't make anything right now, the options are just not showing up.

I had one (out of 4) slots active and fast finishing it seemed to get the list back. But it's still a bad bug.

    This is happening to me right now, just out of the blue. I can see the rare crafts, but not the regular.
    Sister Vanity knows if you've been naughty or nice...and heals accordingly.

    Me too. Just happened now and there seems to be nothing i can do about it. can't access to do any professions on my Rogue at all.

    Can we get a Official reply about this please?

    And this is still happening. I guess there will be a fix once they figure out how to stuff it into a lockbox.

    This has happened to me several times. It's happening to my main right now but not my alts. I just filed a ticket about it. Curious to hear what they say.

    I think I found the solution for this. When it happened to me, it was because I had entered something into the search bar (in the professions window) and hadn't cleared it yet. To clear it, you have to erase whatever is there, then hit search. Or, search for something else, then try clearing it.

    Your post clearly shows that you have no idea what problem it is that is the topic of this thread. This problem has nothing to do with whatever you typed into the search bar that did not return any results for you. This problem is about how Cryptic pushes untested, poorly written code, which in this case causes recipes not to show in the profession window FOR NO APPARENT REASON WHATSOEVER AND IS NOT THE RESULT OF ANYTHING THE PLAYER HAS DONE.

    Work around I have found that works for this that hopefully some of you will find useful.

    Start any craft you can see and cancel it straight away (lil x in top right hand corner of that craft box) any items you would have used for the craft are returned to you so that you don't lose anything. After doing this I find that the rest of the crafts magically become visible again.
