Need advice on what to do at lvl 60.

I have mostly green gear and so, come in dead last in pvp lol, so not much enjoying it. I notice every lvl 60 I inspect has all purple gear. They acquire this via dungeons? I haven't done any group dungeons yet, just been soloing the pve content. Anyway, could use some advice on getting better gear. What dungeons you recommend? Not sure if my gear is good enough for some.

    buy some blues from auction hall?
    they are quite cheap, beats greens

    Green gear is horrible. If you have been playing PvP you surely have built up honor points and could go to the training building with low level arena fights to at least get a purple set (not the one I would personally go with, but better than green by a long shot). I don't know what class you are playing, but if its a cleric you can go with some blue exemplar gear to get your defense stat up. You should also be slotting your enhancement slots preferably with rank 5 and higher gems... if you don't even have that, go ahead and slot with what you do have and just slot better stuff in when you get them without ever paying to remove what you did slot (you lose what you had slotted but its way cheaper to lose what was in your equipment than to remove them).

    Doing nothing but a few dailies, and invoking, while leveling to 60, will give you enough AD to buy almost an entire set of epic T1 gear when you hit 60. There is no excuse to be wearing anything that's green at that point. I just finished leveling my 5th character, and his mailbox had a full set of gear waiting for him before he was even level 40.

    I bought some gear, but screwed up. Shoulda bought purple instead of blue:(

    Anyway, what did wholy mean by joining low level pvp events? Only lvl I can join is 60 right?

    I'm playin rogue btw.

    There only one skirmish I can do at level 60? If so, that sucks:( Only one shows up when I press L.

    Build up your gear. Your gear score lets you in the Epic Dungeons. The better the gear, the more challenging dungeons you can enter at level 60. Try to get blues and purples and have a gem slot for every item. Try to get a full set. Trying to get the Stalwart Bulwark set.

    Build up your crafting skills. I am trying to get 3 different crafters to level 20.

    Get a variety of strong companions. Right now, have cleric, jagged blade, and skeleton dog. Try and get all companions to maximum level. Fill in all the rune slots and items for companions.

    Also trying to build up enough AD to get weapon enchantments and armor enchantments.
