Mail system

I've searched about this but can't find any info, but if you send mail to someone with items attatched and the @handle part is right but you spell the character name wrong where does it go? does it go to their account? bounce back to mine? or is it just lost forever?
Also is Protectors Enclave the only place you can access your bank? I see chests at most fires but you can't do anything with them, getting kind of annoying having to go all the way back once I'm in a zone.

    As long as the @handle is right it will go to the right place.

    And yes, the enclave is the only place you can access your bank. The chests near fires are for foundry quests as a possible place to get your reward from them.
