What's better for say a GWF? Vorpal or Plaguefire?

Can you go higher than 100% Crit Severity?

Vorpal all the way, yes you can go above 100% crit severity.

For PVE, probably Vorpal since your GF or CW have a high chance of having GPF.

I would go lifedrinker though because it rocks in pvp and has some nice threat in PVE as well.. Really can help you off tank if you are speced for it. If your all about dps in pve and not set up to even off tank, vorpal is always a safe bet... more crit damage? seems like EVERYONE can use that well..

I prefer Plaguefire as we need to bring more to the table in PvE, but that's just me... Plus the lowering Defense stat helps a bit when you get past ArmPen of 22-24%. :)

Also considering using Holy Avenger in pvp.. The damage is the highest of all he enchants AND it increases your flat damage resistance for quite a bit...

Hmmm yeah I forgot about that but, lightning is almost primarily pve..

Im focusing on a good balance between pve and pvp.. So far here is where I am at:

Lifedrinker: great pve off tank, decent damage, pvp = unkillable
plague fire: great pvp for 1v1, not great for pve (since most likely others will have it)
Holy Avenger: Good damage and DR, seems good for both...
Vorpal: Highest damage, no additional survivability or synergy with anyone else..

ATM I have a greater PF and a greater life drinker, I dont think I would swap those for a holy avenger, so Im really just torn on the damage/survivability aspects of lifedrinker vs GPF vs vorpal...

    Any feedback?

EDIT: also, does anyone know if Sots stacks with GPF? or if they just override eachother? If so, GPF could be amazing... Otherwise im leaning towards vorpal and stacking crit to max sots and damage...

Reading over Lightning, it looks like it would be glorious with CW. It's a shame I can't get multiple of the same weapon with different weapon enchantments lol. It would be difficult to do so xD.

Yes, PF and SOTS stack. GPF is still the best enchantment for a gwf to use.

They stack! And if you are armor pen capped it's tons of dmg with both stacked, going crazy into negatives!

GPF and SOTS actually stack like this:

    (basedmg+9%)+45%

Valiant 4pc also falls in the same category as GPF (it's +10%, so +19% with GPF).
Tide of Iron and Wicked Reminder also stack with SotS for +65/85%.

Huh... So GPF is really a nice enchant. Might have to grab 1 for my GWF, I am currently using greater lifedrink and its pretty good... But stacking and going behond negatives is pretty nice...
