hi guys im still new to the game, i have my rogue lvl 60 and i want to try other build, i have the "Des build (executioner build)" and i was checking some feats and i want to try Soundrell build, seems like a good dps build for pvp and pve

http://nwcalc.com/tr?b=pa7:4vwvw:70ov,1f83iii:b0000:6zz51:60000&h=0

i dont know what if this is a good build or not, and i dont have AD to buy another token, i just dont want to **** on my char, just some advices, also im not a human character my pvp abilities are:

At will: Cloud of steel - sly flourish
encounters: Dazing - lashing - impossible to catch
dailies: Shocking - lurker
Passives: skillful infiltrator - tenacious concealment or sneak attack and if the proc of getting 15% action points is high i will use invisible infiltrator

i can 1 shot things on pvp with my ****ty 8600 gs but i just want to try another build and maybe this will be a good build, or atleast i think it is, maybe you guys have more experience with this type of builds, thx for the help and regards from COLOMBIA

(im playing on dragon server, name Rankish@anthonyblak3 if you want to PM and help me- srry for my lack of grammar :D)

Hi! I just saw the feats and powers you allocated for your build and I must say that it seems to be an effective scoundrel build. While I have not tried out a scoundrel before, I like theorizing about the many play styles we can do with the rogue. It seems like a good PVP build, in my opinion. However I believe a setup in which I shall be presenting below might help you abuse the Whirlwind Sneak Attack feat and Action Rush feat of the Scoundrel Path.

At-Wills: Sly Flourish, Cloud of Steel.
Encounters: Shadow Strike/Wicked Reminder, Lashing Blade, Impossible to Catch.
    Dailies: Lurker's Assault, Shocking Execution.
    Passives: First Strike, Invisible Infiltrator.

Sly Flourish tends to be a standard at-will for most builds. It's flexible and does pretty decent damage once feated. Cloud of Steel gets the same boosts from Mocking Knave, even better because of the +2.5% per stack mechanic of the feat. It's very useful in PVP, but nigh useless in PVE.

Shadow Strike will be there to help you refill your Stealth when you need to pop out a Lashing Blade for a sure crit, or Impossible to Catch for 5 seconds of invulnerability and +10% Power. But if you wish to abuse the +15% chance to gain +15% AP whenever you use an encounter, no other skill will be able to do this best other than Wicked Reminder thanks to its 4 second CD. The CD of Lashing Blade is equivalent to the CD of 5 Wicked Reminders. In the long run, Wicked Reminder does much more damage than Lashing Blade and it also allows you more chances to get +15% AP.

Lurker's Assault is pretty much the #1 Daily for Rogues, no matter what build he's using. It gives us a +60% Damage increase, 10 seconds of rapid stealth refill, and when coupled with the +15% damage of Invisible Infiltrator, we get a whopping total of a +75% damage increase. If we factor in the other damage increase feats such as Press the Advantage's +10% Power increase, and First Strike's +15% damage increase on the first attack we use in combat, well, I'm pretty sure it can be quite easy to imagine how much damage a Lashing Blade can do with this. Better if we have the Master Assassin set on for the huge increase in power whenever we use a Daily.

I'm imagining a rotation like this would work well, provided we have our AP Bar full.

    1. Before going into combat, use Impossible to Catch.
    2. Stealth, run towards target.
    3. Use Lurker's Assault (+60% Damage, +15% Damage via Invisible Infiltrator, +1k power via Master Assassin.)
    4. Use Lashing Blade (+15% Damage via First Strike.)
    5. Afterwhich you are free to use either Shadow Strike so you can go back into Stealth, or spam Wicked Reminder for added damage via Whirlwind Sneak Attack.

Scoundrel builds tend to be risky, in my opinion. But in terms of burst, it's just awesome.

I use a similar spec. Its pretty good for pvp. I like to stealth, open with dazzling blades for the quicker animation, and then use lashing blade. Kills must cws (even with only a 8.3k gs), and leaves most other classes easy pickings for cos.

Sadly, you will deal no dmg in pve. Im normally in 3rd or 4th dps now, down from 1st with an executioner build.

wow, why this build did no dmg in pvp? for me it seems better than executioner, for the 35% chance to deal 20% more dmg on non crits adn the encounters build more AP adn you can use daylies more often :S

Endgame, most of the rogues have about 48-50% chance to crit. So do the maths for that feat: (1-.48)*.3*.2 = .0312 which translates to a 3.12% average damage increase (being more efficient the less crit% you have). Giving up 5 feats points for this? No thanks. I played with a spec that had 5/5 in this skill and I really didn't notice any damage increase at all.

Does good burst for pvp, just terrible dps for running dungeons. Duelist flurry still does more dps over sly flourish with this build.

So good in pvp, but bad in pve (in regards to dmg). I normally play more of a support role in dungeons with this build. Use smoke bomb, dazzing strike, and wicked reminder to debuff bosses and control adds.

Honestly, makes me wish we could have two specs or i could just pvp for the best gear. B/c there is no way i am respec'ing every time i wamt to run a dungeon.

the real problem with almost all clases is that if you suport full support skills you will do no ****ty dmg, for example i go dungeons with path of the blade for the insane ammount of action points is gives, dazing and lashing and last night i change dazing for smoke bomb and i was 2 mill over the gwf and at the end of the boss fight i end with the same dmg :S dazing + the arcane singularity (CM black hole) did like 12341298y129845137451284761 million dmg, maybe thats why i love that much the dazzing :D and also i love my friend CW that stack all the mobs for me :D

You can try to support AND do damage. However, your primary job as a Rogue in PvE is to do as much DPS on the boss as possible. It's not to control mobs. That's the CW's job (although a lot of bad CWs think they're DPS machines). Your secondary job, like everyone else, is to not die.

As for having an option for multiple specs in this game, I completely agree with you on that. In fact, there's a thread in the General section discussing this very topic:
