Hello NW team, would be nice to make available for users, manual patches, for those that don't have super fast connections don't need to wait ages until loader patches over 900mb data. Think about with care please :)

When you log out, the game now checks and pre-downloads available files for the next patch.

Is that what you mean by "manual patching"?

It only does that when they turn it on for big patches. Otherwise they turn prepatching off.

Not necessarily - it's only for major content updates where they have a lot of the static content finished (and are therefore unlikely to issue any last-minute updates to the stuff that gets pushed out in prepatching).

Honestly, if you want to download patch data early, like say when you're going to be AFK for an extended period of time, set your nw account up for test server access and get the patch data from that - when test server patches get pushed to the live build, the launcher will just copy over everything necessary rather than redownloading it.

no it's not, still an automated procedure. PWE has in other games the option to download the files for the patches launched.

The difference is that i don't need to do it at each computer used to play the game, since i'm not the only one to play the game at home, and if i have the files to download i do it only once ^^

And, adding to this, manual patches are usually much faster than patches via the launcher.
