Publishing not working?

I've tried to publish my quest yesterday and it failed. So far I've waited an hour and a half to republish today and it's still not publishing. Anyone else having trouble?

    I just waited 2 hours to publish, and got a failure notice :(

    Great, so the foundry is up and running but not publishing or saving anything. Kind of pointless to change anything on my map then.

    I've tried twice now in the past two days to publish, and get no messages about failure, they foundry missions just aren't showing and when I open them in the foundry the publish button is ready to be pushed again. Strange thing is I got the messages when I logged on that my first foundry mission had gone through, of course when I checked the foundry missions it was nowhere to be found. Even asked friends to check periodically while they were on, and nada.

    When you publish a new quest, the only way anyone can find it is by searching the code, NW-BLAHBLAH4, in the search box on the "Best" tab. It will not show up on any list. (Very slight chance it will show up on the "For Review" tab, but buried with all the others anyway.)

    The "Publish" button will always be green, because you can republish/update your quest whenever you want. It will also always say "Ready to publish!" as long as there are no tasks (yellow triangles) needing to be corrected.

    Ah, also discovered that you can't search for your own foundry quests. My friend just did it on his and found it by searching, although it never showed on the list, and when I search for it there's nothing there.

    Then this must have been changed recently because i used to found my own quest over there.

    IMHO this is a very poor way to do it.

    the Foundry must not have a public relations liason. Because we NEVER hear from them when stuff is going wrong. Something happens to the main game and they are all over FB and Twitter with updates.

    2 days of Publishing not working......c'mon.

    Usually it works but like all the other Cryptic stuff the foundry has a plethora of bugs. At the moment I can't find my own quest if I search for my name or for the name of the quest. The only thing that is working is the search for the ID. :p

    The foundry is only reason why I even play NWO. If the don't fix all this mess asap, well I guess then it's time to move on......

    Patience the foundry has always been a finicky piece of software since it's conception in STOL. With so many people finding innovated ways of doing things, it's bound to have a few problems along the way, yes it's frustrating but I for one find that it's just par for the course things will be right before long.
    And yes we need a spokesman/woman for the foundry to let us know whats going on and whats planned. Pointless giving all theses suggestions and get no feedback as to weather they are good or bad, taken up or dismissed.

    Yeah. I wonder why we don't have a community spokesman that is just foundry...would be nice.

    Have a quest I tried to publish a couple days ago. Failed after hours of waiting. Tried again today. Been waiting over an hour. No idea if it will fail or succeed. In the past I never had it fail at all. And never had to wait more than 15 minutes or so.

    Also been having problems with saving. Sometimes it works fine. Other times it takes forever then fails.

    I started my publishing attempt at 3 pm my time and it wasn't up until 10 pm my time. EWWWW!

    I haven't tried publishing entirely new content in a week or so.

    But publishing updates to existing content seems to be working just fine.

    That publish finally finished after several hours. Today I tried to republish after making some changes. About 8 hours and still waiting with it still at "Currently Publishing".

    The foundry is only reason why I even play NWO. If the don't fix all this mess asap, well I guess then it's time to move on......

    i agree... i published my quest, it's been about 15 hours, and it says 'not published'. also, why can't i play my own quests???! i want to see how it works in the 'real' game!

    does anybody know will there be any changes about this???

    and also, i don't know how to find quest by ID, could someone please post an example here

    But is there a Thread specifically stating that the problem has returned this weekend?

    Because if there isn't how will the Dev's know the problem is still happening?

    Chances are they "think" they fixed the problem and are no longer following the older threads on the subject.

    when I log into foundry, and click on my quest on the left side in the QUEST/CAMPAIGN side, and click my quest, it says: PUBLISH FAILED (at foundry code), but when I click "EDIT" quest, it says: "CURRENTLY PUBLISHING"... and it has been like that for 2 days... So I think: "Hmm lets duplicate this quest and publish it again" so I click "DUPLICATE" and it says something like this: "Invalid Foundry Project Request" and I have to relogin!

    NOW THATS A BUG!

    I submitted 3 bug reports last week and I have not yet received and response from any of them. And none are listed when I click the "view my tickets" section of Help. What's with that? And by the way my ticket numbers were well above 1,800,000.

    I just got my first one published!!! Attempted at about 1:00 am PST last night. It is not 7:43 PST. You do the math.
    Give it a run and let me know what I can do better the next time!!
