I would really like feedback on my quest. Map detail, challenge, story, dialogue, anything and everything you feel should be commented on. After work today I will be able to check out any foundries you may want feedback on provided its a non smoking environment and you are single j/k.
Thanks

Hello, irtoof75. Just played your quest, and to be honest I did not like it that much . But after a few tweaks, I'm sure it'll be better:).
Here are some of my comments.
1) Duration. Personally, it was unnecessarily long for me .
2) Motive. At the beginning at the dungeon, I had to go to this part of the map to kill the goblins. And then I would have to go to another area. But why? They weren't in the way or anything. Maybe put obstacles in the path to make you feel like you actually have to go through them?
3)Music. At one point I fought a miniboss or something that goes by the name chopper (like a lizard thingy, he had a brother)? Well I noticed special music being played. However, the music stops after defeating them. I think you forgot to put new music to be played after the miniboss, presumably the music that was playing throughout the dungeon?
4)Travelling. This one is just a personal thing but, I prefer direct travelling rather than the overland map. At one point it went something like finally finding the exit and fresh air or whatever, but I went to Protector's Enclave, instead of where I was supposed to go.
5)Story. I'm not too sure on this one. I think it was there but maybe I lost interest due to the long duration?
6)Dat Maze. I'm talking about the one with the narrow halls and teleporters. I'm sry but I hated it >.<. Personally, I think you should remove that part. Chances are, players are spending a whole lot of their time in that particular area (I did, and not in a good way >.>). But that's just me.
However, I did notice some interesting ideas going on, the quest does have potential. Sry if Im being harsh or anything, Im just doing a review, hope you found it helpful .

It's not just you. I wanted to play through that quest yesterday, but quit halfway through because the maze was frustrating. @irtoof75: please, warn players that there is a maze included. I wouldn't have attempted to play it (and waste 25mins) if I knew. It might not be 'hard' maze, but I found it extremely annoying.
on a side note, the second orb (that removes the flaming wall) is largely hidden in LOS, just though you might want to fix that

Yes warn people for it.. But I got that, "yeah!" feeling once I did it. (But the mobs are abit too stacked for my opinion. I believe many 60s will be one-hitted, as it pointed to in the review. A slider would be great. And perhaps even a way past the maze for people who dislike such things.) But the maze was insane, so well done.
Only reason I didn't give this map a quest is the slider option. Hence I felt to tip instead.
Awesome reviews, Thank you all very much. You all have very valid points. The labyrinth is not as hard as it seems. Dairacsis gives you a big clue on how to complete it. I wanted it to be challenging but not impossible, hmmm perhaps I can come up with a way to bypass it. I have been thinking i need to move that re-spawn point past the labyrinth. I'm off to the foundry to do some editing. Also for the story this is just the opening quest, it starts my plot line and introduces you to some main characters, there will be more revealed in the next part. Thanks so much again.
Oh question, how do you make a difficulty slider?
Thanks so much again.

Not at all, I welcome everyone to play it. I'm currently editing it though so you may want to wait to try it. MUCHO love to all you smokers/non-smokers out there.

I might give it a run once you've had sufficient time to iron out any bugs and polish it off nice.

My thoughts exactly when I saw the title of this thread. Guess I'm not allowed to play it.
