hi my friend and I made new characters and we both are in the mindflayer shard but we cant find each other to party and play, any help?

    Your in different instances probably. Check the blue button at the top right of your minimap, mouseover it, it will say what # your on, or there's a button on the main map at the bottom right. You both need to be on the same one.

    To invite your friend to party you can use the command /invite and type part of your friend name, if he/she is online the game will give you the option to autofill, then when you both are in party, either your friend or you can right click on your party member portrait and select transfer to their map, only one of you needs to do it.

    You can also type /who <name> using the first part of the name without the handle, it will pop a window up showing anyone with that text in their name, you can right click the names in that window to invite too.

    I cant even see his instance or location, is this done in the party mode? ty ty I really need help

    Ask them to right click their portrait, this will show their handle, the @ bit after their name, you need that to be able to invite or when you do the /invite name it will return an error. You do both need to be on the same map though I think or it might not find the player..

    Both go to protectors enclave, takes a few mins to go through the quests to get there.
    Once there, both of you check which instance your in(blue button top of minimap). Agree on 1 and move to it.
    Either type /who <name> to find out their whole name with their handle(name@example).
    Right click their name in the window that should have popped up.

    we are both in instance #3 at the bank, shows im in same instance as him but we don't see each other

    Hrm, sounds daft but are you 100% you are both on Mindflayer?

    I don't think theres anything that would stop you seeing someone else on the same instance of the same map on the same server.

    they both say mindflayer, and I have him on other characters, ok now we unfriended to friend again and we cant find each other please help

    Sorry, I've exhausted my supply of ideas. Good luck finding a solution though, hope you can sort it soon.

    ok he messed up and wasn't in mindflayer, ty kindly for your help.
