I don't know if this has been mentioned anywhere else, but I keep talking about it to my guild and friends, and they all agree with me. In my opinion, the best and only way to handle the situation with endgame drops without harming the economy and keeping people running the content. If an item is won via Greed rolls, then the item remains Bind on Equip, although if the item is won via Need roll, then it is therefore automatically bound to the winner. I think this is the best solution overall to avoid ninjas and keep the economy intact, while keeping everyone interested in doing the content.
Just bumping this post hoping that I might get more replies at the current time. Since I would MUCH rather see this system.
The idea is too elegant and simple for Cryptic to consider. It would solve many problems therefore they would never consider it.

This is much workable . . . in fact the resolving of all exploit can clear the issue as gears are not that easily obtain if we play normal.
CN is still full of exploit with 5min clearing to boss which i heard ...
OP's suggestion can be another good solution to BOP. +1

Please, this. Need binds, Greed BOE. Best system. Won't kill the economy or replay value.

This still does not address chest loot. If chest loot is BOP this game will die.
