Getting XP at level 60... ?

It'd be nice if we got something in exchange for XP once we hit level 60. Yes, I realize new companions benefit from XP, but once THEY max out...

In other games, XP rewards are converted to gold (or something) once the XP are no longer usable. It'd be nice to have something similar here.
Campaign: The Fenwick Cycle NWS-DKR9GB7KH

Wicks and Things: NW-DI4FMZRR4 : The Fenwick merchant family has lost a caravan! Can you help?

Beggar's Hollow: NW-DR6YG4J2L : Someone, or something, has stolen away many of the Fenwicks' children! Can you find out what happened to them?

Into the Fen Wood: NW-DL89DRG7B : Enter the heart of the forest. Can you discover the secret of the Fen Wood?

This thread has been done. Doubt we'll see anything anytime soon.

Why do you want xp when theres nothing to get xp for? Its pointless. I have never seen a good game convert xp into gold. Sounds really dumb to me.

There are much more amicable ways to disagree with an idea, than saying an idea sounds dumb. In fact the idea isn't that far off from what a multimillion dollar gaming company has done and quite successfully. It's called WoW, and when you're level maxed mobs drop more gold and quests pay more gold.

Up that to multibillion, but yes this is exactly true. Also GW2 makes the spare levels you gain once you are at capped continue to give skill points that are used in crafting and transmutation. So the idea isn't unheard of by any means, it actually makes sense to capitalize on it as a way of rewarding players further, which isn't a bad thing.
