Unable to see characters on my character selection screen

Hello,
I today tried to log in in my account and first of all it didn't recognize my password, so I had to go through a couple of steps to reset and figure it out, after troubleshooting it when I reached character selection I was told to create new characters (yes, it had no characters in there, it was blank)! I already had a 56 GF and a 22 TR in there! I am confused as to what went wrong.
Can some concerned authority please help me out with this issue?

Has anyone but me got the same issue? I have not deleted my characters neither have I used any exploits, this is quite frustrating when you invest time in something and it just vanishes without actually any trace and any explanation. What happened? Please let me know. I have also submitted a ticket but no use, seems they might get back to me when the weekend is over. If this is a bug or a glitch this might be experienced by you too, so please say something.
