And I'm not asking this cause you constantly out level the content you can craft even if using the Gateway as much as you can.

Exemple : from craft rank 2 to craft rank 5 you can create items for level 16 (GWF since it's the class I'm playin) meaning you NEED to level 3 craft RANKS during your level 16 to benefit of the full content you may be interested in, or what's the point ?

Who the hell could have had the stupid idea to put items of the same level on 3 craft ranks wide ..? Why not having made rank 3 = lvl 14 item, rank 4 = lvl 15 items and lvl 16 = rank 5 items.

This is just silly you need to fill up 3 entire craft ranks just to choose the boots you want or choose between 2 to 3 armour JUST for your level 16.

Are you silly cryptic devs ?

Gemmed shirts and pants are the only things worth physically crafting. Leadership is the only crafting profession that isn't ultra silly with terribad rewards.

I forgot to say, don't collect leadership astral diamonds through the gateway. You won't always receive them.

GODDAMIT !!! Thanks for the info Oo.

This game cumulate too many issues in too many mechanics to be enjoyable still, even though being completly free.

I think I'm going to pass my turn as least until some more features have been reworked and added to actually figure out what it's going to look like...

I won't even bother to ask anymore for anything : too much work to do for devs to actually fix the issues.

This makes sense since i just collected 3 of the "Defend the Mines" task or whatever its called. The one that gives 1600 AD. I never actualyl received the AD though...

Don't know why but roughad collected via the gateway is just becoming as without you refining it ingame. At least that's what is happening to me.

You need to actually log into the game for the AD to show up (in refined form). Yeah it's weird that way.

Are you sure you are checking the right item? You are supposed to get Rough Astral Diamonds from Leadership not Refined Astral Diamonds. You need to log in to refine them so if you are just looking through at the Astral Diamond balance through the Gateway, then you won't see any change.

There is a bit of a discrepancy between character leveling and profession leveling speed, though it's a relatively minor issue because the market for sub-60 level items is very limited. You also find a lot of gear while just questing. The stats bonuses of the green shirts and pants are also tiny. There are some blue helmets and such that probably can be sold, but again, it's something to best do at 60 when you craft them for selling and not for your own use.

There's definitely room for tweaks, but overall I think professions aren't really in terrible need for an overhaul. They are more like mini games than an essential aspect.

Crafting in this game is a huge AD pit. You need to blow massive chunks of AD (for the tools and assets) to get to the end (max) before it will give you any sort of credible returns.

Green tools = between 40-80K AD each
Blue tools = 200-280K AD each
Purple tools = 900-1M AD each
Green person asset = 20-30K AD
Blue person asset = 30-60K AD
Purple person asset = 200-350K AD

Personally I took me around roughly 41 days and 300-400K AD to max Mailsmithing. I didn't use any script or bot. Just daily 8-12 hours of normal harvesting and crafting.

I've found the crafting to be completely useless for anything other than shirts/pants (and even then, you can buy mid/high versions of those for a couple gold). Anything craftable has been significantly worse than the random green drops I'd find, not to mention way behind in level. Even the remotely good craftable gear is iffy AND it usually requires a rare/expensive component (shards/crystals/etc); you can get better gear off the AH for the same price as that 1 component usually. $0.02

This is completely false. Just checked it and Gateway gives Rough Astral Diamonds as specified. You need to log in to convert Rough Astral Diamonds to Astral Diamonds.

    Alchemy is coming. can't wait.

    Heal + Regen potions ftw.

It doesnt always give you the rough AD. In the gateway shows that some tasks give rough AD but when you complete those task in the gateway it goes give them to you.

Maybe for a few days, and for those that level by paying for it. Everyone and their mother will be running alchemy. It won't take long at all for costs to drop.
TL : DR? Then don't waste my time responding.

It does, the only problem is rough AD goes poof after you've been logged out for more than 5mins, even through the game... The issue here is likely that rAD gets auto refined at 10 mins after you've claimed them in the gateway. But if you've logged out sooner than 5 mins, the rAD goes poof before the gateway has a chance to auto refine them. At least that's my guess as to why people rarely actually get their diamonds when they claim them via the gateway.

Try this, claim the diamonds via the gateway then log instantly into the account, they're rough diamonds. But there has been some proof that gateway does in fact auto refine them(people have noticed that they gain AD after stints of crafting through the gateway), we just don't know why it doesn't refine 100% of the time.
