Huge lag with CW's ice spells

I got this problem, every time when CW start casting his Ice spells I'm experiencing a HUGE hardware lag. It is like 2 fps even on lowest video settings and the game is unplayable. My laptop might be not the strongest one, but i played in many games with better graphic without a problem. It has 4 gig of ram, geforce 240m (1gb graphic card), and dual core processor. Is there any way to fix that? Please help:)

    go to settings, go to vid, go to adv. options, change max # of objects affected by physics to 0. Problem solved.
