Need some advice

I currently have 4 pieces of the Archmage set, with the acception of the Arcane Overseer's cap. and I have a GS of 9,157.
And I am currently at a loss of how to upgrade my gear from here, to get my GS up any higher from here.
I could use some advise please

    Upgrade Neck/Rings/Belt and try to get Gemmed Exquisite Shirt and Gemmed Exquisite Pants if you haven't already.

    yeah I do want those, but they cost way too much:(
    I am only up to 11 on my tailoring.

    I'm so damned confused over the whole issue... GS and stats, what to buy what not to buy, I come here read alot of the posts, copy down info, and still feel lost as hell over what to do. I'm not new to gaming, just not sure I know what I'm doing anymore. I leveled solo just fine, I'm purple tierd as I figured that was the best thing, didn't spend enough time reading on which gear pieces to buy... spent most I have on what I got. saw somwthing on the viszor set, went to price it and said hell no.. could be why I havent been able to compete a dungeon to date either. NO thats not true Im usually one of the last standing on last boss fight so... heck I don't know. Love the game and a good player if I say so myself, new to NW, never played wow, so maybe thats my short fall. I got a orb doing over 700 with 2 enchants,(dont ask what I put in it) one I know was a fire buff on hit. but its really low, like 1.5 or 2.5% chance . at any rate, if anyone on here feels like being a big brother to a much older gamer, meaning I'm no spring chicken, I would gladly take any advice or critisizim.. I'm good either way, I just never want to feel like I failed a group who thought I knew what i was doing. MY gs atm is 9.7 but I'm sure Ive screwed the pooch along the way, only piece I dont have in raid purple is a helm..which i could remember what set pieces I did buy, only 2 gave me 400 pwr but thats all i can remember from work at my desk:)
    Carnaflex, where do you find those items? I've looked on Ah under fashion and never nothing there?

    There is only ONE purpose for GS, and that's to meet the requirement to enter Dungeons. Besides that, you should just gear yourself how you see fit. Someone with 9200 GS could be alot better geared/effective than someone with 10,200 GS.

    I agree copticone, but still, the set items going back and forth on which is beast whis is not, etc.Step back and look at it from a new player to this game perspective and I belive you will see what I am getting at. To add I wrote down your build... to tell the truth I was alwasy using chilling cloud..don't ask me why, maybe I just fell in love with all those bright orange numbers flying off stuff...my question then would be the same... without GS, or the right amount, your not able to even go to some dungeons.. now that as I see it is a good thing...but then you spend hours running with a pug grp only to fail on last bosses every stinking time. The ONLY 2 D's I am even attempting ATM are the 2 non epics dread and karrundra or whateverthat dragons name is. Beat the dragon....once... the other brain dude... I'm 8/8 for fail. I was simply wanting someone who is good with the game mechs to maybe throw a dog a bone here. IF not, I degress I will simply play as is until someone jumps me for doing the wrong $hit or spells or what ever. Which BTW already happened, but he was good about it and helped me get my spells and rotation corrected for the brain. I use pretty much what he told me to on encounters.. MM,CC, icy T,steal time, ray of F, sometimes I use another(cant recall which)
    icy knife and AS on dailys... mostly using AS during add mobbings.. but thanks for your input.

    Just did a run through Mad Dragon, got enough to upgrade my ring... 9199gs
    I feel so ripped off..lol

    With High vizier set I can easily get to 9350 GS, with only cheap AH items

    The problem is, the Archmage is a T1 set

    Ps.Try to get +Hp gear it increases a lot the GS
