quick way to switch powers

IS there anyway to save a specific set of your powers and then quickly switch through them? Or do I have to individually drag powers?

I.E. As a GF, I have a AOE set of powers and a single target set of powers that I use. Obviously it is inconvenient to keep switching back and forth manually depending on the situation.

nope and they cool down when switched . A second set up would be nice , it could keep the cool down but switch them all at once . Since when I change its more then one .

I would also like to see a feature like this. Something like:

    /savepowerset name
    /loadpowerset name
    TREVOR@TRAJHVER2 on the DRAGON SERVER

    Same.
Even in PvE, my TR has a mob skillset & boss skillset.
Delve loot murdered my TR, DC, & GWF. Nerf Plox:
I know that it sucks to no longer get gear to sell from the Dungeon Delve chest but it was truly overpowered.

Swapping manually isn't so terrible in my experience. There are a very limited number of situations where it's even close to necessary, if at all. I think making it complicated to swap is part of the plan to keep people focused on their three chosen abilities. Otherwise the choice of which to use is all but negated.

This could be abused to avoid cooldowns in pvp. Worst suggestion of the day.

    Peace.

When u swap powers, u get a 10s cd or something.

From Panderus, one of the devs:

We definitely want to improve the powers window, powers slotting and maybe eventually build loadouts. I submitted a couple improvements for Module 1 that should be easy and improve things some.

I would love to just click a button and switch between my PvP and PvE power selections though.

This is so wrong, I am not sure where to start.

You clearly have never played a CW or "dps" class. There are completely different Power setups that are optimal in different situations, even within the same fight in some circumstances.

For example, you have to juggle between:
    - skills for AP gain
    - skills for aoe control
    - skills for aoe debuffing
    - skills for aoe damage
    - skills for single target control
    - skills for single target damage
    - skills for single target debuffing
    - skills against melee
    - skills against casters or healers
    - skills for ledge knockbacks
    - skills for pvp

and any of the combination above.

From a huge repertoire of Powers, you get to choose 5 or 6, including dailies. This does not even include class features.

I assure you, even if you do not, many players often change their Powers all the time.

I play all five jobs[edit: class, role, task - i say job], tyvm. I will rotate them before a boss fight if required, or in a boss fight if its a boring one like Spellplague. This is what I was talking about when I said it would negate having to choose. You've made my point quite expertly.

Side note, if you can't manage to switch before a boss or even after zoning into PvP (this is from someone who has never said this seriously before) L2P.

Or..and I'm just spitballing here..you could stop arguing just to argue and agree that a quick switch system (like in many MMOs) would be beneficial to everyone. You could even show how cool you are by never utilizing it!

That would be the mature route, since you have no argument.

Ya... no argument, I made one for you, you haven't. I'll feed you one more time, but I'm done. Even your pokes and jabs are played out stuff from the 90s. If they implement a change I'll use it, but it isn't necessary at all. Others went after me instead of my post, and I responded in kind. Grow up (regardless of your age).

One of the nice things about Neverwinter is that you have a manageable amount of abilities/powers; unlike some other MMOs where you're juggling over two dozen different abilities/powers on your main hot bars and several other quick slot bars. The negative is that the wait the powers are slotted, it's inconvenient to swap out powers.
