OK ~ I've just published my latest Quest: Bloodwood.

I still have a fair amount of tweaking to go but I would really like some reviews and feedback.

Obviously I will review anyone who reviews mine.

Thank you in advance to anyone who contributes.

Greatly appreciated.

I've just played through your quest, I thought it was quite good. Just a few typos I think, in Lista's conversation.
    - One of own = One of our own.
    - Talisman to onpen = open.

I did think it could have done with some more story but I seem to be saying that a lot so I think that's just my preference. I really like your banner there :)

Please take a look at mine when you get the chance. NW-DHMMZR6BJ.

    Hey Avatre.

Firstly thank you for reviewing my quest.
I had a great deal of difficulty in your quest as I'm just lowly lvl 36 a solo-er.

    SPOILER ALERT.
    *************

After speaking to the ghost and choosing the easier option, I just got hammered by the barmaid and her cohorts.... (9 times actually.. I'm persistent huh.:))

I had a lvl 15 cleric with me but to no avail, she died quicker than me.

As I could not go back to the basement campfire, I could not heal my injuries (perhaps make the basement two way ? .)
So I was cornered and badly crippled. :(

So I'm sorry to say I didn't get to review your quest.
It wasn't from lack of trying.
    Sorry..

When I get my posse on, I'll give it another shot.
Maybe I'll have better luck with a few of us.

    Thanks again.

Oh and thank you for spotting the typo's, I fixed them.
    Cheers again.

Hey, thanks for trying! I have just changed it so that the first encounter with the barmaid is not an elite but the end boss is, unfortunately, so it will still be too difficult, perhaps. I'll have to take a look at that :)

Edit: Yeah I just tried it on a level 31 author character, Guardian Fighter, she is rather brutal! The only elite I could actually beat without dying too many times was the Ogre and that's just wrong for a dark caster. Thanks for pointing this out, I'll definitely have to mull it over!

Hello... my kid and I will run it right now. Would love your thoughts on mine if you have time.

Just ran your quest. Overall was really good. Only thing I might change is to get rid of some of the default prompts. Like "click for next map" and such. As for difficulty... at level 35 (rogue) I had no problems and come to think of it only used 2 potions. When doing your quest it is either going to be too hard or too difficult and people are going to let you know either way. It is not a failing of your quest building abilities, but rather Cryptic not scaling correctly.

    Overall was fun and entertaining.

    Wow Katah!
    What an inspiration.
Fantastic well written story with beautiful maps.
Apart from a few shimmering bits of floor where rooms meet and overlap - (which is Cryptics issue not yours) - not much I can add.
    Genuinely enjoyed your Quest.!

Thank you for your time and effort.

I loved this! :) This is exactly the type of quest i've been wanting to find, but they are so rare. So glad i found yours. :) Absolutely loved it. :D

Sending you notes in a forum private message. :)

P.S.: Oh, i have a quest too. It's not as active and adventurous as yours, but has a similar outdoor theme to the latter part of Bloodwood. You can take a look at it here: [UGC]Kolde Acres.

I also recommend this quest. It is very nicely done and a lot of fun to play.
