This is regarding how items disappear immediately after being interacted with. Like when you kick barrels.
This should have a 'Do not disappear until after 30 seconds of no player contact
interaction.' rule.
You are missing an opporitunity to let the players create games of kicking stuff around,
using their classes unique abilities in interesting ways.
You could go to the foundry and create a soccer field, and the players could kick around
a little ball into goals. You wouldn't even need to create an actual soccer system or quest.
The players will play it on their own, and keep track of the score on their own, and as
long as 10 players or so could share a single map instance called "Soccer Field." There
could be a whole new philosophical feature to the game that is already built within it.
The only thing that would need to change is a modifier to the part of the game system that tells items that are physically interactable to disappear after 10 seconds. Either create a new item, or tell all items to 'disappear after 10 seconds IF no player interaction.'
This would create a whole new game within the game that would distract players who are mad with dungeon queues, which they will always be, forever, because it is an MMO. Give them the ability when in a queue to 'Soccer map' with random people.
Debris objects are handled client-side. So when you kick a barrel, it most likely looks different on your PC than on anyone else's PC, making games like this impossible.
(Based on my knowledge of Debris objects in Champs... I'm guessing they didn't make server-side code for this kinda thing.)

I would seriously be happy with a soccer physics little area with people. Right now you can play kick the barrel with your companion for like 15 seconds before it disappears. Seriously, does anyone remember in Phantasy Star Online Ep 1/2/4(BlueBurst) playing with like 20 people kicking the huge balls/characters around in the lower lobby arenas? That was so fun.

Don't have a link handy, but a dev has confirmed previously that this is how they're handled in Neverwinter.
