So, I assigned ctrl to the function that alt normally is due to my keyboard setup. I did this thinking that the function ctrl normally provides was in the keybinding section like everything else. It's not. I've now reassigned alt to its original function, but ctrl has no effect whatsoever now.
I've checked every single page and every single option in the preferences and there's nothing that says anything remotely like what I'm trying to do. I don't want to reset everything to defaults cause I changed a lot of controls. Besides, if there's nothing on the menu, it may not be reset anyway.
Anyone know how to re-enable a lost camera lock? Again, it's NOT on the keybinding menu.
If "camera lock" is what I hope you mean, I would LOVE to know how to do it. I am constantly staring up at the sky, or down on the top of my character's head, or up the butt of some bad guy; always zooming in or out without knowing why. If there is a way to lock the camera angle to isometric view, I would like to know how to do that. I've asked in-game many times, and either get ignored or insulted.
Not sure what your issue is, coronary. I'm unable to zoom in or out unless I have inspect mode toggled on (default B key).
I'm talking about the feature that's normally present when you hold the ctrl key down and you have something targeted. The target marker on your screen then "sticks" to that target wherever they move, and wherever you move. Essentially meaning you're always facing that person. Maybe a better word is target lock-on.
Well, I finally reset my keybindings to default, and that brought it back. No idea why, cause there's no option to bind it anywhere. I'd still like to know how to set it to another key, or bring it back to default without resetting all my keybindings.
