Chat ban issue improvements

Zone chat is for general chat only, not for advertising your items. Selling your gear/items to the highest bidder is exactly what the Auction House is designed for. Create/use custom channels for this purpose if you insist on not using the Auction House.

The spam and ignore in game features are very important to the peace and tranquility of the great majority of players. Sometimes, someone gets banned that really shouldn't be banned. It's unfortunately but minor inconvenience considering all the good these features provide the community.

Now, if anyone can think of ways to improve the spam/ignore features, that I'd be interested to hear about.

1. Change the Ignore feature NOT count towards the muting.

    Indeed separating the IGNORE button from the SPAM one would fix it well met Finn ^__^

    But he did ask improvements.

    I guess #2 would be: Hire a moderator to monitor 'Report Spam' reports and punish the abusers with 24 hour mute.

    I think it would I dont think players are actually wanting to mute people they just dont want to see what they are saying on their own screen. Separating IGNORE from SPAM would cut down on people unfairly muted.

    I love the current system. Never had any problems with it. I've had some nice talks in Zone chat when questing, but in Protector's Enclave its just horrible... Luckily we have the swift hammer of justice in Neverwinter :)

    Since that feature seems to be unique on Cryptic games.

    Only disables the chat to where he is reported at (zone,say,whisper,guild, party) though this seems impossible as it is only linked to the account not the chat channel. But as of now, silencing should have have been on zone and say only.
