Hello, I just got the full set of Stalwart Bulwark and I wonder if this is not bug, I have 12K power with 5 stack but damage not really increasing or not so much, I do not really understand i win 7000 power it should be visible, if some of you test it thank you in advance for your help
I notice the same thing. The stacks proc and I still hit in the same damage range. going from 3k power to 12k power should show a significant increase in damage per hit but it don`t.

same thing happens to me. seems like using this set is pointless
Power is not the end all stat. This set is nice for giving you good defenses while at the same time maintaining a good power level. If you want more damage build your Penetration and Critical. You can pretty much ignore power because you will have enough with the set bonus.

Works fine for me.
Cleave damage goes from about 1200 to 2000 after the stacks happen. Test more carefully.
And no, power is the be all end all stats for guardians, at least for smart ones that select the double power feat.
Sure get some armor pen and crit, but not by forgoing the awesome stalwart set.
Only place you may wish to put it away, temporarily, in pvp versus noobs - a pure power set can be nicer for burst , since noobs dont fight back (they run in fear). Against strong teams, especially ones with cleric vs cleric, you will take hits and thus benefit from stalwart.

Only test that double power feat with low Power, but it gave me around +8%(i think for encounters it was +10% dmg) on encounters and at will powers. I only checked numbers on powers before i took feat and after it. Not much time to play.
Now im +-testing armor penetration, critical and it seems better.
What are you on about. Even a small % of ArP is give far greater boosts than large chunks of Power at 60. I agree with you that Bulwark works and you shouldn't give it up for ArP but you can easily slot it on the rest of your gears.
With all the def reduction debuffs ArP's worth goes up even more in groups.

Before I finished getting the whole set I was using the greywolf breastplate, shadowwolf helmet and some smiting/valiant blue gloves and boots that give me about 5900 power. Using that mixmatched set my cleave damage was in the range you say that you get with the stalwart set 1200-2000 a hit.
When I equip the stalwart set my damage is in the 900-1100 range and my power is around 3200. When the armor starts proccing and I have the 5 stacks I get close to 12000 power and my cleave damage still stays in the 900-1100 range.
Now with 12000 power after I get the 5 stacks, I should at least be hitting in the same damage range as I was when I wore the mixmatched set but I am not. I know the set was adjusted because it was bugged and I never had the full set prior to that. It could be possible that it was messed up by mistake when it was patched. I invested a lot of time into acquiring the set since I ran the dungeons until it was complete. But right now the only real gain I am getting from the set is the increased defense/deflection which is nice, but at the cost of a lot of dps even with max stacks.

Where does Stalward Helm drop ? from Mad Dragon as a regular drop or from chest ?
Officially mad dragon, but your more likely to get it in any Tier2, during a delve.
The way it works (roughly, for t1 delve chest)
5% - drops the t1 set piece the ingame description says
45% - drops the other t1 jewlery/clothing piece the ingame description says
45 % - drops a random junk piece of purple loot - usually matching what the boss can drop
5% - drop a random junk piece of blue loot
For t2:
5% - drops the t2 set piece the ingame description says
25% - drops the other t2 jewlery/clothing piece the ingame description says
50% - drops a random T1 piece your class can use (armor or otherwise)
20% - drops a random usually junk purple from the endboss in the area
Thus running any T2 is the best way to get T1s. The best way to get T2s is to scream at your monitor after running 100 T2s, then go to the auction house.
Mine personally dropped in Frozen heart (stalwart helm), actually only piece i managed to loot myself in 75+ dungeon runs. But i did later 2nd the armor in karrundax (After i bought it for a mil ofcouse).

Timeless hero sword is the best guardian weapon in the game. It drops only in epic dread vault, which I completed the other day during a delve, but it dropped nothing for me (dropped a rogue offhand oddly from boss crystal, not even a main hand)
Stats uh theres a pic floating around somewhere. But pretty much its T2 base dmg - so higher then the scimitar, slightly less then the ancient sword. But has massive power - highest of any in game, decent recovery. No crit, but most say base damage is so important that even ancient sword can out dmg scimitar (and it has terrible stats besides base and defensive things).
So yea will be running more ep dread vault i guess. argh. That or paying someone millions for it, given ep dreads difficulty (and its rareness)
