Too many attempts; please try again later. - Login Problem

I get this message at login.

I get this message when I attempt to login:

"Too many attempts; please try again later."

I did NOT try the wrong password multiple times.

This started happening late yesterday. Perhaps after a patch - I'm not sure, we aren't given a patch schedule.

I got it once. I then made sure I was using the correct password and tried again. I tried using both my email address to login, and my ID. Neither worked.

I waited 10 minutes and tried again. No.

I waited an hour and tried again. Still no.

I waited until this morning and tried again. Still no.

Something is broken. Please help me fix it.

    Using proxy solves this problem. Maybe because I'm on grey IP my account got blocked?

    its ip related. try switching your modem off for a reasonable amount of time so that you get a new ip. I had mine off for 7 hours and hey presto, new ip and success

    Found a workaround for this, changing your IP address without having to wait the 7-10 hours with your modem unplugged.

    I used the Linksys router option #1. Once I finished this, I restarted the launcher for NW and it allowed me to login without the "too many attempts" error. It does however have a gigantic patch. I'm not sure if this is just a regular patch, or something it's doing because it sees my new IP and thinks I don't have the proper info. Anyway, hope this helps.

    I thought it was solved but got all again yesterday! Fck!
    If they cannot come with a viable solution ill quit! :(
