I have a Razer Nostromo that I have used for all of the MMO's Ive played and with both STO and now NWO there is a problem.

The latest driver's (2.0) dont allow for correct d-pad diagonal movements it either doesnt move or stutters, I found out that by rolling the drivers back to the original (1.03) drivers the gamepad now works.

Its not a major issue but still I kept forgetting to mention it until now.

And thanks for an excellent game keep up the good work :)

Sounds like an issue with the mapping software you're using as currently Neverwinter is offline and had no joypad/controller support as of the last beta test weekend.

I think its more to do with an incompatibility of the game and the latest drivers, reason being is that the current release build of Star Trek Online has the same issues and both games are based off the same underlying structure.

    Hello,
I am having this same issue - I rolled back the driver which did fix the d-pad angle problem, though when i did the rollback the nostromo config software says no nostromo detected which makes the software to apply the keybinds etc just shut down. Just curious if anyone knows a workaround - ty

I gonna try this driver https://hotfile.com/dl/151291095/674...v1.03.zip.html

I too cannot move north west or north east on the directional pad. So annoying.

    having the same problems too.

    1. installed the 2.05 drivers and having dpad issues (no diagonal keys, disabling the diagonal keys worked in WOW and other games but not here)
    2. rolled back to the 1.03 drivers, but now i can't change my keymapping in windows 8 (for the nostromo not in game)

I was thinking of getting an orbweaver but i'm afraid it'll have the same problems

YES!!! But, NO! I just got this game, and I am having the same problem with my nostromo, It worked perfect on SWTOR, and any other game...

But this game does not allow octagonal movement with out 2 buttons being pressed, which cannot be emulated properly on the nostromo cause its not a macro.

they need to allow octagonal movement with D-pad / sticks

I Finally got around to hopping back in this game for the first time since the synapse 2.0 became available for the nostromo, which finally fixed the diagonal movement in other games like GW2. Unfortunately it doesn't work so well in Neverwinter, as this thread shows. It appears the diagonals do work but the game seems to get confused and gets stuck in 1 of 2 "modes" in which one mode only registers NSEW from the stick and the other mode only registers the diagonals between those. The mode it picks is whatever your first press is until you release it. It makes it incredibly hard to play when your character stops dead in his tracks when you roll over to a diagonal. I've no idea why it works this way, but it's definitely not something that will keep people playing.

My Nostromo is working fine, but of course I don't use the clumsy little D-pad thingy. Driver is 2.02 and I'm having zero issues.

I'm having the same issue...in STO, Champions, and Neverwinter. Every other game works fine with the D-pad. But cryptic games don't seem to like the Nostromo.

Same issue. Can we please get a fix for this? I won't be playing the game until I'm able to use the Nostromo with it.
