My gripes about the game.

Here are a number of things I wish to see changed in the game:

1)The Heavy Howler mounts are too noisy, and bloody annoying, please reduce the frequency of the noise samples

2) Do you intend for players to change combat powers mid battle? If so, create a hot-key system for people that want to change their attack plan mid battle, otherwise it's a battle of who can navigate the menu's the fastest while you get hit. If not, lock the menu during battle.

3) I wish there was an easier way to tell which of MY debuffs I have stacked on my enemies. Maybe increase the size of my debuff icons, just by a little, and make sure that they're always at the start of the debuff icons. (the left)

4) I think that the daily skills should be fully restored or reset when you ever a PvP match, it's an unfair advantage that some players enter with it ready, while others don't. The Clerics 'Channel Divinity' ability should also be regenerated / reset.

5) Loot should be displayed with more information on screen, it's very important that I'm able to quickly decide if I require a particular item during a fight, otherwise the need/greed box is getting in my way. However, I would prefer that pop-up boxes are disabled until the end of the fight.

6) There should be an option to display lower level quests, I'm trying to catch up on those I've missed, but many of the quests don't have markers now, and I have to check with every NPC in the area to see if they have something for me to do.

7) The Ardent and Celestial coin icons are almost identical, I thought they were one of the same until two users corrected me in this thread.

8) Why are the 'Seals of the Lion / Manticore' kept in my currency tab, while my 'Seal of the Drake' is kept in my backpack? Zone currencies should also be kept in here. ie, Many-Arrows & Black-dagger insignia's.

9) I would like to see an option for viewing only foundry quests which would grant me Rhix's daily quests requirements, instead of wading through all of them. Speaking of Rhix, he is terribly animated, he never closes his mouth - do something about this.

10) I like the loot 'recommended' function, however, it is broken. I got a sword once that was obviously much better than my current one, but it was a higher level, so I couldn't equip it yet, and it wasn't recommended -then the day after, it suddenly was recommended, despite the fact it is still too high of a level for me to equip, it doesn't make sense.

11) The horse neighing is also driving me nuts, I'm talking about when people rear-up their horse multiple times in a row, stopping the previous neigh sample half way through and starting another, it's so annoying.

12) Why do you place Guardian Fighters and Great Weapon Fighters into the same forum, whose idea was that? If you're a Cryptic employee, find them and slap them for me will ya?

That's it for now, I'll add more as I think of it. I know it sounds like all I'm doing is complaining, but despite the flaws I am having a lot of fun, particularly with PvP.

Thank you to Cryptic for fixing a number of issues I mentioned before edits.

I would also like to see more types of PvP, like capture the flag or plain old death match.

Enchantments change once you hit 60. every single person will be needing shard enchants. and almost everyone will be needing the normal rank 3/4 enchants

To view foundry quests for the daily, search for quests that are 15 minutes long. since that is one of the main requirements to being eligible.

all of the other things are quite valid concerns though.

If you want to always have a daily ready before a pvp match, attack a dummy in trade of blades. it gets your daily ready pretty quickly.

Also, as far as loot info goes, us 60's prefer to not ever loot while mobs are around. it really gets in the way.

I am here to state no opinion, I'd like to correct you about something though.

The Angel pet costs 360 ARDENT coins. These don't dissappear. You can only have a max of 7 Celestial Coins at once anyway.

I think that the celestial tokens are crazy stupid right now. You cannot expect players to log in for 360 consecutive days to get one epic companion - Imagine being 350 days in, and then your internet connection is lost for 30 hours for maintenance, or a family member is gravely ill and you must travel to see them. All your coins - GONE.

Celestial coins only stack to a maximum of 7. These are the ones that require daily logins.

ARDENT coins are the ones you are thinking of, they do NOT reset if you miss a login.

Oh okay, that's not so bad then. Thanks for clearing that up for me Vheraun and Elawyn, I appreciate the information :) I've edited that out of my post.

I think that the symbol of the Ardent / Celestial coins should be changed, they are identical.

That's my point - everyone always needs them anyway, why not set it to auto-roll by default? Or did you mean to say people greed the normal enchants at 60?

That's what I've been doing, to give myself an advantage, but I don't think it's very nice of Crypic to expect us to enter the training hall and hit the dummy a couple of times before a match

It sure does, maybe they could put a delay on the pop-up box so that they only appear after the fight? Or perhaps disable the ability of picking up uncommon items during battle?

sounds like your on top it of it all lol. they have mentioned time and again that a loot system plan is in effect but there are no details towards it. Most enchants are useful but a good 30-40% of them are pretty much trash, selling for like 500ad per shard. some people need, some people greed. at least they greed when they learn how useless they are.

Is there a more appropriate area to voice my opinions? I want to make sure Cryptic staff are aware of my concearns.

    Thanks in advance.

DO YOU HAVE ASTRAL DIAMONDS?! 8D

Yeah i die a little inside everytime i hear that...mainly because no. I don't have any god-dam friggin astral diamonds.

I would like them to allow selling things for Gold in the auction house.

Another very important thing I've just realised, if you're going to allow people to change combat powers mid battle, you should create a hotkey system for people that want to change their attack plans mid battle, otherwise it's a battle of who can navigate the menu's the fastest while you get hit. I have a technical way so solve this: allow a Capslock + (inset encounter, daily, At-Will button) to have a switch between the group of alternate abilities, still of course taking 10 seconds to switch.

Attack bars should be locked during battle. Of course I would like a scrolls thing on the powers bar to allow me multiple setups. As a dc I like to setup more healing and no knock back for dungeons/scrimmishes and DPS for solo stuff.

As for need/greed courtesy I have a 1 roll policy. If someone needs a belt/ring/enhancement the first go, I need every last one for the rest of the run. Of course, pompous players who think no one "needs" such things should be kicked simply because if my char is spec'ing crit/power or my gear is underlevelled of course I need it. That is what need is for. I need better gear. Rare instance since belts and such seem to drop like minions, but I won't kick anyone if they need a universal because they might actually need it. It is those arrogant players who try to enforce their wills on other that I'll boot.

I think action points should be reset rather then restored.

I also agree action bars should be locked outside town and a better UI so it's easier to switch.

I was also thinking a reset in PvP would be good. But I don't know about reseting powers only only in town, I like queueing for things while I'm doing quests. Being restricted to changing powers out of battle would work fine for any practical purpose.

The new patch notes looks great, I particularly like the part where it says "NPCs are now less talkative."

It also addresses my issues with boss difficulties.

There is so much info to go through..

when i read this i just looked over at my physics and circuit analysis books and laughed.

anyhow the recommended thing on loot is awful and can only be ignored in the current form, especially while leveling up.
it will recommend an obviously worse item just because its of superior quality. i.e. it will say a blue weapon with 100 damage is recommended over a green weapon with 125 damage. derp.
