I got this message since friday. Decided to stop playing. This game is dead anyway, with this kind of support.

Guys, I ran into this issue yesterday. I also ran into the issue (after waiting for around six to seven hours) of not being responded to by support. I tried many things from doing a password reset (didn't work), restarting my computer, digging my heel into the floor in frustration, and grinding my teeth... None of which, as you can imagine, actually worked. The last thing I tried after the long wait and having no response from Cryptic (just because it's open beta doesn't mean you can just ignore us, which is basically what you guys do until eighty people line up with the same problem) was restarting my modem entirely. I'm aware also that this is an option in their FAQ, but seeing as how this wasn't a common issue amongst connectivity plagued users, I didn't make the connection. Unplug your box, wait a full thirty seconds, plug back in, and allow it to re-establish it's connection to the internet. This fixed the issue for me.

You need to change your MAC or IP adress or wait 6-24h

You are just blocked form all neverwinters servers, it's not your account just your internet connection, changing mac/ip fix it instantly

Found a workaround for this, changing your IP address without having to wait the 7-10 hours with your modem unplugged.

    http://m.wikihow.com/Change-your-IP-Address-(Windows)

I used the Linksys router option #1. Once I finished this, I restarted the launcher for NW and it allowed me to login without the "too many attempts" error. It does however have a gigantic patch. I'm not sure if this is just a regular patch, or something it's doing because it sees my new IP and thinks I don't have the proper info. Anyway, hope this helps.
