The question is: Will people be able to use health stones and resurrection scrolls in future raids?

Just to know if I should just give up on this one now, or stick around and see what happens. While the game is truly great at first, certain aspects like this will alienate players very fast.

I'm sure they will be, they're selling them. The game is blatantly pay to win in a lot of aspects. If you don't want to pay to win (in the form of full heals in raids) exit stage right.

It is not so much pay to win as pay for impatience.

It's pay to win when there is only 1 currency to buy half of the best things. (like companions and mounts)

In the literal sense sure you could say 'Well, I can farm AD and use the Zen market and then buy whatever I want with Zen' but the reality is some one had to put cash into the system to make that Zen. It is literally pay to win.

I found with just a little effort I could afford anything I wanted off the zen market. Just like any game... grind for mats, grind for mats, sell on AH.

I make 2 million a day just from making about 3 dungeon delves events and doing T2's. I plan on buying 400 full HP pots when the AH is back up and my stuff sells. Its only pay to win if you're stupid or lazy.

well there are 2 ways to win, time and money. money is just the faster path. If you don't want to spend money, time is your only option.

Really does it matter that you do not have all the best purples and perfect enchantments? no. what are you going to do when you have all of them? And then after that ? And then after that. Logically it would follow that you just do the thing that you would do once you have all the gear you would ever want (whether it took time of money).

Ressurection scrolls are only pay 2 win if you suck and die alot.

I couldn't care less if this item is allowed in raids, provided that the raid isn't balanced to be so difficult that these items are a necessity for completing the raid.

Can we please keep this on topic? Simply about using the stones and such, not pay to win debate (which is really a dead horse at this point)?

I see no problem if people can use them in whatever comes in Gauntlgrym, which i'm not even sure will have raids. Raids are a big unknown at this point, since i don't think any testers even got to see them. Neither items are really that cheap, but are fair to use for convenience. Usually if you are dying, or taking enough damage to need the stones, you will most likely be doing them a lot, not cost effective to "burn through" the boss. If members aren't using potions at least, or helping each other up, then it will be obvious they will just complain about how hard the raid is anyway.

They can't be used in PvP at the moment, and it sounds like Gauntlygrym will be a mix of PvP and PvE, so i'm doubting they will be usable anyway.

This must be your first mmo, because this game is SO far from being pay to win it's not funny.

You can literally buy the best gear. That is p2w for a lot of people.

This isn't an argument. There are many examples and articles that describe and explain p2w. I just don't care that it is p2w in this game at least for gear. I doubt they will balance around health stones and scrolls and as long as it isn't then I'm fine with it.

It is pay to win when the only companions worth having are on the cash shop..

Edit: Unless you count the cleric that is ok till around mid 30's..but honestly if you need a healbot in this game...just lulz..
