group join box-terribad

group join box in bad place---have to keep eyes locked on top of screen or miss it--too fast, no timer, and can't dare look away, and can't be moved.

    You can move it via the Rearrange HUD option. It is one of the notification boxes that pop up.

    Well it's usually a good idea to set up party/groups BEFORE going into combat, but as Morbic said you can move it.

    There's no real good place to put the default location of the box. Put it off to the side, and people complain that they can't look at it during combat. Put it in or around the center, and people complain that idiots spam invites to block their view and cause problems while they are fighting.
