1. AC is not hit or miss... no idea how this could happen, the rules are very simple
2. There is no character diversity
3. A warrior cannot use all types of arms and armor
4. Saving throws have somehow vanished.
5. There is zero DM interaction..... zero... *shakes head*
6. Casters have a laughable amount of spells to choose from. Needs to be x100 on diverse spells of course.
7. predetermined skill tree... not sure what it is or how it works but its not in any of my D&D books.

Please fix said major glitches asap! Thanks

It's not going to be the exact same. Jesus christ it's an ADAPTATION.
Personally I'm loving this game (which is still being worked on, have a little patience ****)

Why cant it be the exact same? Will the masses and warcraft gen not play if there are saving throws and AC is hit or miss, so confusing....

I'm quite happy there aren't saving throws. I *always* throw a 1. Critical failure every time.

    Those really are not bugs..

GF still being able to one shot everything, INFINITE dodge and stealth exploit, PvP queing bug, lost AD bug..many..MANY more..

    Those are bugs.

What you stated is just what you would like to see in the game :p

Lol, ouch dude "always" that is a blessing for u then. 4 me im just confused i have no idea how this game works, or why it doesn't follow simple D&D rules. Whats the reason. Does everyone just quit if AC is hit or miss? I cant imagine thats true so why not use the real rules? so confusing...

Really not having AC be rolled against (or wisdom, cons, etc) to avoid attacks is a convenience thing. They'd have to code an entire SYSTEM (including add code onto each and every ability, on TOP of having to add which ability rolls against what) for this. They're trying to give us a large, comprehensive game. They can't do that if 80% of their resources are holed up messing around with hit rolls

How did NWN2 have such a diverse game and still be within D&D rules? I mean that did happen. Your right of course, but so what. Devote some more resources to said rolls so that the D&D standard is not compromised. So what, write some more code. Charge $60 for the game..... see what im saying. The D&D standard of quality is being trampled on and for what? There is no reason for it IMHO.

This game is endorsed by Wizards of the Coast (the company that makes Dungeons and Dragons). So your point is invalid. Quit being an elitist and enjoy the experience.
If you want a "pure" D&D experience go play D&D.

I am, currently do every other friday tabletop and just went back to NWN2 for a better D&D experience. That doesn't mean i don't see what this game "COULD" be it could be the video game ive been looking for, for years now. But the major bugs need addressing of course. And im still very confused.... not understanding why something simple as AC is not working properly.

Well, they can't just be killing off people's character's can they and make them restart? :p That would absolutely kill the game. Rules had to be bent. (There was a f2p game I played that can really close to D&D rules but I can't for the life of me remember what it was). Trying to explain the rules to people who have never actually played real D&D takes time. But you know that already. People expect to learn the mechanics in 5 mins flat and go on their way. In essence, in had to be dumbed down.

But the game isn't finished yet. All the paragon paths aren't complete. The still need to fix the classes. They're adding classes in the future and other things so don't give up on it yet.

And btw, what server are you on?

*sighs* your right.... "Dumbed Down" .. that just rubs me the wrong way.. D&D should never be dumbed down or at least as very little as possible. On the dragon server mate. And i hope that the upcoming changes will have some things in it for D&D traditionalists as some standards just have to be implemented.

Btw, all it would take is something like a 10% xp loss, or a small percentage of AD. I honestly think that would enhance the game. Dying means nothing in this game, and it should, right?

You need to play DDO. That is as close to D&D 3.5 as you will get in an MMO. I found it quite enjoyable, although you pretty much have to pay the monthly fee to really enjoy the game.
