Steps for a more enjoyable MMORPG experience

1) Turn off General chat, only use chat for your Real Life friends and/or guild, as general chat is full of spammers and WoW kiddies making potty talk and ruining the immersion of the game.

2) Only group with Real Life friends and/or your guild, as doing PvP or dungeons with a random group is pure fail and NOT fun.

3) Any players other than your real life friends or guild are just an annoyance, they do exploits, steal kills, compete for loot, ruin the immersion of the game, and just frankly are not needed and get in the way. Who cares what stuff some jerk stranger has....who cares what they have to say. They are just a hinderance and not needed.
Just play with Real life friends and your guild and ignore anyone else.

4) MMORPGs are like going to Disney World, anyone other than the people you went with are just in the way.

Or you could just, you know...play with other people and meet new friends.

Heres a TLDR for you: Play Skyrim. If you don't like the social aspects plays a good single player RPG

#1 Find an actual MMORPG to play.

Otherwise have a little fun in a MODC like NW, while you wait for an interesting MMORPG to come out.

Your game is called SWTOR and you can see how well that turned out.

I can see where the OP is coming from, but I have to disagree. I have actually met the majority of my current real life friends through MMO's and also met my wife while playing an MMO :)
