Why is tanking so **** obnoxious in this game?
Setting aside the fact that threat management is non-existent and needs tweaking, there are more factors to this.
Every class has atleast one knockback ability, and likely a knockdown, preventing me from positioning anything at all.
Considering i used to play wow, the knockbacks are easily the most annoying thing for tanks to deal with.
In addition, the **** Man-at-Arms are like a Hunter pet with taunt on.. its annoying.
Lets say Guardians have their Threat buffed, making them capable at crowd control management and positioning.
How exactly is their control relevant when a group setup with anything but a GF (let alone a GWF) can control crowds twice as efficient and have better damage output?
Dim down on the **** control... Its like watching pong when Clerics and CW just fling everything about, while all i can do is hold my d*ck and run around spamming Enforcing Threat with no effect.
I'm only level 28, but i don't exactly see this getting any better, au contrair, likely getting worse with more ability choices..

It gets a little better when you get Threatening Rush in a few levels but the basics of running around in circles chasing things while everyone else does cooler things doesn't change.
Build for dps instead of tank until tanking gets fixed. And don't fight companions for threat. View them as tools. When tank pets have threat, walk behind the monster and utilize the combat advantage. Tank pets mess up positioning and direction but there's not much you can do unless they die and you get a chance to tank.

I'm with you. I think Cryptic just gave up on the class.
