Cleric - Cleanse

When you Heal an ally you have a 10/20/30% chance to remove a negative effect from an ally.

Way way way to strong, all it takes is a single Astral Seal (Small heal on target damage) to completely negate DoTs and debuffs. This feat is way over the top and with it you just see cleanse rolling across your screen constantly. I would never want to be a warlock in this sort of enviroment and trying to be a DoT/debuff cleric is a pain in the butt. I have the feat myself and a majority of the time if I'm not making an effort to heal someone I still see cleanse spam.

    Why do you think warlock will be dot based? Maybe you overplayed wow a bit?
    Also in PvP I use a lot of DoTs on my cleric, haven't had slightest problems killing other clerics(other then time) with DoTs.
    You're exaggerating just as 90% of other "balance thread" posters.

    Clense is pretty useless but it is actually broken atm as it seems to proc all the time as opposed to the stated percentage. When they have actual significant DoT's then it might be an issue but I have no confidence of late in Cryptic's ability to ferret out and fix bugs.

    No, I am not. I am simply stating that healing at the moment is a snoozefest and anyone can do it. If cleanse was changed and made an active skill instead it might just be fun.

    (Full CN gear cleric speaking here - i will go DPS once the new paragon trees comes out, if theres no changes to cleric healing)

    If a cleric puts up seal and brand of the sun, or just spams seal, you will never kill him in a 1v1 situation if you are dot based.

    I'm not saying it is too strong, because without it ray of enfeeble will continue to dominate everyone, but it makes your dots useless if used correctly.
