Cannot Text Chat?

The last couple days I've been getting a bizarre error.

Anytime I am in a zone playing solo OR in a group in a dungeon and I attempt to chat, absolutely nothing happens.

Nor do I see any other players chat in my window.

For example,

If I hit ENTER and typed /p Hi group.

They do not receive my message, and I do not see my own message in the window.

Same goes for /say and all other forms.

Before you tell me the obvious answer, YES I've double checked my chat tab settings to ensure that those chat functions were enabled on the tab I'm using.

This is a pretty game breaking bug for me right now.

Anyone else had this issue, or anyone can offer some help please?

    you could have been reported for spam and have a multiple hour silence.
    Open the Launcher. Click Options near the top. Check Disable on-demand patching. This will download another couple of gigs.

    Ability Scores || All Attribute Roll Combinations || My Cleric Stream \o/

    me too i can't chat and it says i can chat in 0hours 0mins 0sec. is been 2 days : /

    How do you know how long you've been in chat?

    Also, solution taht worked for me that I found on the STO forums; /whitelist_chat 0

    And yes I was having this same problem across ALL of Cryptic's games, this fixed it on each of them.
