So, as someone who throughly enjoys neverwinter... I'm sort of confused on how all these Duplication bugs are coming about in almost every single game lately....
May 8th, DIABLO 3 had a similiar thing go on. However it would appear from the random threads ive seen this, exploit for AD/ZEN/AH stuff has been going on for much longer then just today, which is rather unfortunate. However - If we have to have a wipe and start from scratch Id rather have that in BETA and have PWI reimburse our transactions. HOWEVER that is probably far too difficult for them to do as it would require alot of effort on their part.
So maybe "putting a bandaid on the problem" as someone put is all they really can do? I dunno Im not cryptic or perfect world. Its rather sad that this game is going to probably be ruined by such a exploit.
This is why I think PLAY TESTS before patches go live should be confirmed so clever individuals can find this <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font>...
I personally hope whatever the issue is gets fixed and the game isnt completely ruined if it is... That is rather unfortunate because i rather enjoyed neverwinter so far. but if the economy is so far gone it'll be difficult to recover from that sort of exploit unless a wipe is done. and sadly, i think a wipe will stray alot of people away from the game simply because they put in a weeks worth of time to hit 60 or even less then that.
The roll back isn't so bad but i feel sorry for anyone who managed to get something really good for cheap or found in a dungeon over the last 8 hrs? I guess...
Hopefully things may work out in the end but hard to say.
If the game can recover and push on great. but lets hope whats left of the economy isn't completely ransacked.

Honestly, until tonight I thought there was a very real possibility everything was going to be deleted when the game was finally in a company announced launch stage, I've been completely playing with mindset of "this is a beta" which usually means a wipe at the end when things are made to go live. Just figured any accounts made in the beta would get like double XP boosts or a free level to 20 or something to compensate when things went live.

Well even my jimmies are a bit rustled, as we need a server ETA from the devs, but **** man, behaving like listyourfears is will get you banned. and thereby rustle jimmies even more.
