What is there to buy with gold?

Title pretty much

So I see there are 3 forms of currency, the more player preferred currency, Astral Diamonds, the IRL $ Shop, Zen and then there is gold. I would assume Gold was the player currency, but its not. So.. What is there exactly to buy with it?

So far I can see 3 things. 1. the 50% speed mounts (Are there any others?) 2. Low powered companions(again, any others) and lastly, NPC stuff, such as potions, and kits.

So anything i'm missing as for what gold is used for?

There is also Glory and the Lion, Manticore, Pegasus, Unicorn, and Drake Seals.

Gold is also used for set-level gear you can purchase from the vendors in the Market where the Seal Vendors are stationed.

Great Weapon Fighter tanks? Who are you kidding? Cleric tanks. They draw -all- the aggro.

Save your gold for later, trust me you will need it for potions etc.

Level 60 injury kits cost 20 silver each. And you can expect to use up a few each dungeon run (while PUGing or doing harder dungeons).

Potions are also fairly expensive and you burn fast through them.

Thing is, at level 60, only by doing dungeons you can't really get gold. Unidentified green items sell for about 1 silver, and Greater Identification Scrolls don't drop in Epic dungeons (for some reason), so you can't identify the greens and sell them for 10 silver each. So if you only run dungeons, and happen to die a lot, you can expect a 1 gold per run "cost". And then you can get frustrated at a boss, and wipe 10-20 times and use 20-30 pots, and burn through cash very fast.

And it is probably reasonable to assume that gold will also have future uses.
