Pvp damage

Can someone please explain this to me,why when i go to pvp sometimes my abilites are reduced by half and sometimes not? did i miss something important or what.Like for example i go to pvp on level 38 and my flourish hits for 600-700 then i go to pvp on 39 and it now deals 1300-1500 wut Q_Q?

    You do realize you're fighting opponents that range from level 30 to level 39? You also realize they are all geared differently (or not at all). There's a million reasons why you can hit one person for half that of another person.

    I think you don't quite understand what im saying,it's not that my damage is ranged from person to person MY ABILITIES ARE showing half damage and deal half damage to ALL but when i leave pvp its back to normal.

    Just to clarify my abilites are 100% and when i pvp it's 50% or 100% and i don't understand why.

    Ever considered it might be balance so you don't go around 1 shotting people in pvp?

    So then why are other people hit me for 2000-3000 damage when i only deal 500 and 800crit m? and then i go the same level and i deal 1000 dmg and 1800 crit.EXPLAIN THIS ****.

    it's a bug with their system that increases everyone's level to 39 in the pvp match. if you aren't level x9 in pvp your abilities are cut in half. Once you hit the level cap for that pvp level range (x9) your abilities do normal damage

    Just play 35-38, 45-48, 55-58 levels through PvE and rest with PvP and problem is avoided... ;)

    Or just learn to cap and avoid fighting at around those levels, that works too. At 60 it gets normal, everything dies in 3 seconds.

    It is done so that fights dont end in 3 seconds, although the damage probably needs to get toned down even further at 60. Rogues 1 shotting people and other people burning them down in seconds. The only thing that saves you is multi-stacking the priest shield ability (which should also be fixed and the game rebalanced accordingly - PvE and PvP).

    Its not what he is talking about . I have the same thing and its ruining my pvp lvling . Basically whats happening is your highest damage is at lvls x0/x1 and x9 . Every time you start getting to x2 x3 x4 etc your damage drops because of a scaling bug. And its the worst when you lvls are x4-x8 and then at x9 when you are not getting boosted its your normal damage. The numbers are <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> my skill damage drops two sometimes more times. You hit like a wet noodle till you hit x9 again . For example on my mage my ice dagger said 38xx - 5104 Damage at lvl 55 but when scaled to 59 in pvp my tooltips showed 1560 - 2130 or something of this kind . I was actually getting 9+k crits at lvls 50 - 52 and about 3k crits at lvls 54-58 and then back to normal at 59.
