Select an Instance

On my TR, whenever I use a gate to transport to another area of the game, I always get a window popping up asking me to choose which instance I would like to travel to. This happens both when soloing or in a group. My 2 alts don't have this problem. This is really annoying as sometimes I am not able to leave "mouse look" by pressing "ALT" and may have to wait 30-45 seconds before pressing "ALT" works and I am then allowed to choose my instance # to travel to.
This "feature" just started about 3-4 days ago. Did I change some setting and this is the cause?

    Yah, there's an option you can set ( a checkbox, as I recall? ) that lets you CHOOSE the instance into which you are sent... it's normally OFF by default and the game just puts you where it wants. I happen to prefer being able to choose my instance, as that means I can deliberately choose a less-crowded one. I don't remember WHERE the option is... somewhere under the OPTIONS menu, anyway, I would think. HUD or INTERFACE or something maybe.

    Thank you for the information. As the game is currently down for maintenance, I will check this in a couple of hours.

    You are correct. Under Options, interface, HUD there is a checkbox to "Show map transfer options".
