Nearing 30 on my GWF loving him in PVE without a doubt. However in PvP I'm frustrated to say the least. Our 'Sprint' skill has a horrible recharge on its stamina that its near impossible at times to avoid a rogues daze, mages/healers are next to impossible to even get to in pvp that i find myself just running in a circle whilst dying. Yes i can take a lot of hits, but the hits i throw out arnt so ungodly powerful that when i do on a slight chance you know get to hit a enemy it makes little to no effect till im pushed/stunned/or knockedown and back to running after them helplessly.
Do things get better for the GWF in pvp? I had fun in the 19 bracket with it but now that everyone is getting more and more cc skills I'm just finding it frustratingly slow/weak class.
EDIT: Also are they gonna keep all cc 100% land? Cause honestly thats the big failpoint, things should have a chance to 'fail' not 100% landrates.
Yep, and its coming right at you.
You should probably move because its a train.

I partially agree. When you get to 35-45 you hit like a truck but around late 40s early 50s you get back at being as intimidating as a wet noodle with a serious potion addiction. Worst thing is that potions around 50 are not really that great anymore. Having a hobo healer doesnt help either.
My experience is that whatever the game, PvP on an armored melee class is not going to be very much fun. I expect to be crowd controlled and nuked from orbit. I expect to never get to use any of my defining abilities, because they tend to only work on relatively stationary targets and often require multiple hits to be fully effective. This has held true over so many games that I doubt it can be fixed.
That's why I don't PvP on my mains. Rejoice and be glad that so far the boss fights have had minimal annoying choreography and required no explanations.
Endgame feel any better at 60? or still a wet noodle? :P
As far as PvP goes, as a GWF I pretty much smash everything in sight and have tons of success. We are by far the fastest and most mobile class, with a devestating stunlock rotation that will beat everyone but a well geared guardian 1v1.
Just don't get too frustrated when you get 100%-0 from one shocking execution.
