Don't afk. They're only doing it because you won't come down to fight and they're bored. I'd like to see a ramp put in so you can walk right on up to kill afk'ers.

not true I was in a pug that got steamrolled by a premade group and they where spawn camping us just like that picture.
that team also had 2 clerics that where overlapping there shields and taking 0 damage 5 against 1.
pvp is pretty broken in neverwinter.

Even if you started out trying and went to staying up there because you were going to lose you are still going afk. It's poor sportsmanship. Lets use a sports metaphor, do the Detroit Lions walk out on to the field announce the other team is going to win and go back to the locker room after the first play?
Honestly, I'd like to see a barrier as well. I'm actually someone who DOES spawncamp.
This is not due to the team being AFK, but simply due to giving the team a huge advantage. The longer the enemy team stays inside their base, not even afk, the more chance MY TEAM has of taking over domination spots, and thus preventing any further point gain from the enemy team.
Yeah... So as a rogue I exploit the hell out of this in PvP, so what? Point is, it's a problem, even if the other team isn't afk. The longer I have them in spawn, the better. That's the point I think the OP is trying to make here. It hold them back.
You have the option of running out, but, by the time you do that, you're already down to 1/3 of your HP, well... If your rogue is decked out of course.

Not even the campfire can save em from mine haha.
True enough, if a barrier is added then they should make it if you stay in there for 30 secs after the match starts you're removed then to prevent the "afk" from either afk farm botting or afk give up scenarios.

AFK or not, it's not right if they're able to go to the opposing side's supposedly unreachable spawn camp. It's broken and it needs to be fixed. I've been wondering how they've been doing that. I've seen some of my PVP teammates do it.

TR has the teleport skill, they target you and just spawn behind your HAMSTER in a click

What sportsmanship are you talking about 3v5 and 2v5 . It's not sportsmanship when your team of 5 non stop kills 2 people that are stuck in the match for no reason . This is pure griefing .

Not trying to be mean, but that video you linked made me laugh. I thought the player verse player in World of Warcraft was bad, but this is on another level of bad.
Don't get me wrong some of the HAMSTER that happens in this game happens in World of Warcraft, such as spawn camping at lower levels, but by the time you reach level 90 spawn camping disappears. Main reason for that is the game has been out for almost 9 years which has allowed Blizzard time to (some what) balance Player verse player in World of Warcraft.
All the gated Spawn points in World of Warcraft players can't reach, and the only issue of spawn camping was for Warsong Gulch and Arathi Basin. Which Blizzard has mentioned raising and pushing back the spawn points for alliance/horde for Warsong Gulch as well as randomizing spawn points.
The one thing that will forever plague any game is the Afk players or the bots. Even in World of Warcraft you can start a match with equal numbers on both sides then turn around and be down three or more players as they are /dancing on top of the Base.

The OP is talking about when its 2v5 or 3v5 not a fair 5v5. How can you hold points when the other team has 2-3 more players than you?

Both teams should be forced to sit in their spawns because some noobs got facerolled.
This is why PVP is not fun, bads and bad sportsmanship.
**** right im attacking you in your spawn if you wont come out of it, I didnt come to arena to sit here and do /emote pushups.
Laughable rhetoric, I love it when the 14 year olds come here to vent how much they hate that mommy wont pay for WoW.
