Earning AD via professions through gateway.playneverwinter.com

Hi all,

Not sure if I am being a bit dumb here, but I regularly use the gateway site to keep my professions busy, but I have noticed that whenever I earn AD they don't seem to appear in game. For instance, I just finished a Leadership task which netted me 300 rough AD via the gateway. I collected the results in the browser, then launched the game. I checked my character's inventory and she has zero rough astral diamonds to refine. What am I missing? I feel like I have wasted a lot of time on these professions now - or am I being a spaz (hopefully and likely!).

    I am having the same problem. I am trying to find out of I have to collect them somewhere, or it they are simply going into the underdark.

    Just completed a task in game, got diamonds. Makes me wonder what else I didn't get.

    As posted officially in another thread I don't have for reference atm, Rough Astral Diamonds are supposed to auto-refine after a given amount of time. Make sure you write down your Astral diamonds when you log and add up the calculations for Rough diamonds you earn to see if your Astral diamonds increased by this amount.

    Gateway is bugged. Collect your rewards in game to get Astral Diamonds. You will get EXP through the gateway though (that's what I think).

    Bleh, I suppose it's still beta so can't moan too much. Shame, I definitely missed out on some AD here though.

    What I did notice was that the 2x AD event during the weekend did not count if you claim it via gateway. I was logged in the game at the same time and had two Protect Caravan tasks completed. I claimed the first one in game and got 400 rough AD as expected. I then claimed the other one on gateway and only got 200 AD.

    This still a problem? I haven't tested it yet, or read patch notes ... I should get on that.

    This. Had the same concern, and last week did as described. Rough stayed at 0, regular had gone up by the amount I collected while at work.

    Works for me. They show up as refined AD not rough AD so you need to keep an eye on refined AD.
