Regardless of build, you will be tanking.

Yea, just walk into an instance and you'll have everything pulled onto you because of the broken threat, lol.

I use Unspecified's cleric build, which includes the all-important feat that increases and shares your Foresight passive for "tanking", and it works quite well. But yeah, you'll end up tanking almost regardless of build as soon as you do anything that heals anyone.

Made me smile - so true
    ...............vote for your favourite expansion..........
"Mod 6. Oh my f****** god. It gutted the game pure and simple. And what wasn't gutted was messed up by the poorly thought out new level cap and equip. The game never recovered from that atrocity".
    ..............not this one then.............

I really wish they would move that thread over here... Oh well, I'm working on a few things right now then I'll be creating a new thread here with (assuming it works) a new build. The new build will require specific gear to function correctly though.

Note both of the builds in that thread a perfectly viable, though I feel the second is a little better. I've completed everything but the final boss of Castle Never and dread vaults as a solo cleric without a GF in the group using my 2.0 build. The reason for completing Castle Never and Dread Vault has more to do with time and lack of actually trying. Dread Vault I've never seen the inside of the dungeon, and Castle Never we made 2 attempts at the boss one day and called it to go do Delves, haven't been back since (I want specific gear and it's not in Castle Never).

Here's a video of me 'tanking' Spellplague with that build: http://youtu.be/JPLyTHdF7Wk
That run took 50 minutes, the first 10 minutes are missing because I loaded fraps while running back after a stupid death.

Love the playstyle you have inspired Unspecified, currently using a version close to your version 1.0 and going great about it. Thinking of switching it up towards the 2.0 version, and the video you linked here clearly shows that cleric are viable healers and that aggro is not such a big problem as many will make it, sure you take a lot of mobs, but so do the dps when they start unloading.

I wish I ran with a CC CW lol. So much more control going on in those fights then I have ever seen in any group I have been in.

One very important trait to take is in the bottom tree first top trait that reads when an ally is healed by you they negate 80% of combat advantage dammage which is why the little trash mobs in epic dungeons wreck people. If you watch even if you strafe your character turns and runs away and does not run sideways but away in that direction. Add this to tank build and offtank 5 or 6 mobs at a time more if group is ccing

There is only 3 ways to get Divine Advantage to proc on yourself, Healing Word, Bastion of Health, and Soothing Light. Nothing else will proc it on you. Apparently Sun Burst will proc it on party members only (stated by someone else, haven't tested that myself). All other abilities don't proc it at all.

Personally I feel it is not a good feat because of the inability to proc it on yourself without using what are generally terrible powers. Healing Word has a place in a few boss fights but that is the only exception really.

The heals you proc from crits and attacking mobs with astral seal heals seem to activate it as well so I stand and attack a sealed mob while the pack in preferrably in front of me.

Just respecced to test this. Went to Whispering Caverns and did nothing but spam Astral Seal againt spiders that were hitting me in Melee range.

    No it doesn't.

Thank you for spending the $6 to test this, so the rest of us don't have to.

I just used 152k AD to respec feats only... Then another 152k to respec back.

The only reasons to use Zen are for powers and stats.
