Version 0.24

I. Introduction

This compendium's goal is to compile the information for all of the possible types of keys that can be applied to a Neverwinter account. This will allow players to quickly see which types of keys are available, what they offer, and how to obtain them.

II. Format

Each type of key is listed in alphabetical order and contains four sections: Benefits, How to Obtain, Availability, and Maximum Per Account.

Benefits lists all of the items or other perks associated with the type of key, with brief descriptions where necessary, and in parentheses which category that benefit falls under:

- Account Unlock: Applied at an account level and does not directly affect any characters
- One Per Account: Can only be claimed by one character on the account
- One Per Character: Can be claimed once by each character on the account
- Unknown: No verifiable information exists

How to Obtain provides a description of how one may obtain that type of key. Please note that only the primary method or methods will be provided. For example, some of these types of keys, such as a Hero of the North Founder's Pack, have been awarded in contests, but that is not the primary method.

Availability details when the type of key was available as precisely as possible. A type of key is considered available if one or more of the primary methods of obtaining it are still possible. Therefore, while some types of keys may become unavailable at some point, unredeemed keys of that type may still exist that can be obtained and redeemed from sources such as other players.

Maximum Per Account provides the number of times a type of key may be applied to an account, regardless of whether multiple applications provide any further benefits. For example, a type of key may provide access to a mount for every character on the account and, while multiple applications of that type of key would not provide more of that mount, it may still be possible to do. When appropriate for clarity's sake, this section will also describe the effect of multiple applications.

Guardian of Neverwinter Pack

NW Founders Friend Key

Benefits

- Access to any one of the three beta weekends

How to Obtain

Receive the key from someone who purchased the Hero of the North Founder's Pack and redeem the key.

Availability: January 30, 2013 - Present

Maximum Per Account: Unknown

PC Gamer (Pale Horse)

Benefits

Purchase a physical or digital copy of the PC Gamer US February issue and redeem the key. The key randomly redeems either the PC Gamer (Pale Horse) or the PC Gamer (Stormraider Horse).

Availability: January 8, 2013 - Present

Maximum Per Account: Infinite

PC Gamer (Stormraider Horse)

    I know I am missing many unlocks (weekend friend, Torchlight II, RaiderZ, etc.), these are simply the ones I presently have. If you have one I do not, please provide the name exactly as it appears in the Redeem Key page, located here: https://my.perfectworld.com/nw/redeemkey

    Please also provide any other information, such as which benefits it offers, where you obtained it, when it was first obtainable, whether it still is obtainable, etc.

    Finally, feel free to correct any information I have. One thing to note is that I presently have a lot of things listed as "Unknown" for whether they are "One Per Character" or "One Per Account" unlocks, knowing full well many are likely "One Per Character," such as the mounts and companions. However, until this can be verified (maybe one of you can do this) I am keeping them as "Unknown."

    I added NW Founders Friend Key. This is the key given out with the purchase of a Hero of the North Founder's Pack. I have read varying things about whether it grants beta access to all three weekends or just one (the next one after it is applied), so anyone who can confirm after this next beta weekend that they either were able to log into the first and second using it, or just the first, would be appreciated.

    if you mouse over panter, spider, horse, dire wolf, it says if its one per character.

    I fixed the Neverwinter Founders Friend Key to properly state it provides access to only one of the three beta weekends. I am still looking for information on other keys I know must exist, such as the Torchlight II pre-order key, etc.

    I lost my redeem key from when I bought the tourch light 2 . It came with the Beta key for never winter . Any one know how to get the code back? I need help.

    First I would try looking through your past emails for the key. If you have deleted the email or cannot find it, then I would try contacting Perfect World support here: https://support.perfectworld.com/app/ask

    If you still have the emails from your Torchlight II purchase, include any information you can from them, like a purchase number, etc.

    I am not sure if they will be able to help, but it is worth a shot. Good luck!

    As Arythor said, you'll need to contact Support (link up top the site) from the account associated with the email you bought T2 from or email them at customerservice@perfectworld.com from the email address used to buy T2.

    Just to make sure though, you did buy it from the PWE Website itself and not through Steam, yes? For if you bought it through Steam, you don't get a beta key. Instead, you got a free copy of Torchlight 1 through Steam.

    I updated some information based on new information (PC Gamer keys are live for weekends 2 and 3). Also, I want to make a humble request: if you have a key applied to your account I have not listed, please give me the details. I know a bunch are missing, especially the ones given out today via contests for beta weekend 2. I would very much like to know what they are listed as and if each website had a different version or not. Thanks!

    The PC Gamer key is no longer valid. The key may work if you have a physical edition of the magazine, though the PC Gamer website has ceased distributing keys for digital subscribers.
