ugh... sometimes these tools are a pain in the you know what. Anyhow, here is my new issue I need to see if anyone has a fix for. Here is the set up...

Map - Protectors Enclave
Objective - Reach Point

In the editor where it has the waypoint option, I am getting Internal Error 1 Task flagged with the "Points" option enabled. It works fine when I go inside the game to test it but it won't go away unless I disable "Points". However, if I disable "Points", then the player won't know where to go to trigger this objective.

Anyone have the same issue and figured this out? Thanks for the help in advance.

Doing things on official maps other than using the contacts does not work well, and is best avoided.

There are a number of prefab city street maps you can use. Using "live" maps such as the PE, which is not available as a prefab so I know you're using the regular PE and not a quest specific instance, just doesn't work well for anything but the contacts built into the maps and as a jumping off point via the usable details. Can you imagine if authors could spawn encounters into the PE?

I think you can make your own instance of PE (so it will be just you/your party and all the NPCs that are regularly there)

Doesn't seem to be when I check the Foundry. Maybe it's not rolled out to all Foundry authors yet and it's available to you.

There are fake towns in the foundry. As for PE, I do not believe that is out yet. You can set an encounter to enter a specific door or use a treasure chest as a specific reward. Anything beyond that it gets risky and to be honest - even those two items can get buggy.

I would recommend using quests that use the maps that come with the foundry and spend hours and hours dressing it up and making them look pretty. You could even throw a few friends in your maps... or yourself if you wanted to... as a NPC.
