I've i lvled my cleric to 60 but at this point i have no ide how to play the role. I've got 7.7k gear score but still in PvE i tend to get aggro from adds and most of the time first one in my team to die. In PvP i tend to get insta killed by Wizards and Rogues. Guides dont tend to help me much.

It's odd that you made level 60 and yet have no idea how to play the build you've made.

You havn't supplied any info on what route you've taken your DC so I'm of little help for your particular problem.

Did you have it power leveled or buy the character or something? I'm not judging, but if you had played the character up to 60 then surely you might have some inkling on how to play it?

Devote Cleric is certainly a weird class to play. Despite being the only healing class currently in the game, it's rather poor at the role, but I think that gives it more depth and makes it more challenging than just being that guy that sits in the back casting heals.

I'm only a 27 or so, but even at 27 I've surmised that the Cleric is kind of the controller of the battle. Sure you cast group heal spells and keep everyone healthy, but if one person (like a rogue) play pulling too much aggro, there's very little you can do to save his life. You can influence where mobs move to with the MASSIVE aggro that you invoke, you can lock mobs down sort of, you can cause decent damage, and you can heal. You may have noticed that you can heal other people (particularly groups) way better than you can heal yourself. You rely on others for protection, plus you have to manage your own skills in not always swiping control of the mob.

I've noticed in lower level dungeons that my healing powers way out heal the health bars of party members. So you have to manage this by not constantly spamming heals and gathering attackers on yourself. You rely on others, but they can't help you if you're playing poorly.

Since you're 60 I have nothing I can say to help you. I might try leveling up another cleric to experiment with the various skills before you reset your points and go about it randomly at $6 a pop or so. I'm still learning it myself, I'm almost half way there and always discovering little nuances. You play PVP and PVE a lot. They both play differently, but you can build a character that is decent at both with the amount of points they give you.
