I have searched but can't seem to find the answer to a few questions. So I will just pose them here. If they have been answered then please just direct me there. Thanks in advance.
1. After you publish a quest it goes to the "Review" tab. How long does it stay there?
2. Is there a way to insert a Treasure Chest on the map. One that actually has random treasure, not just an empty detail. I was thinking like a side trek hidden chest that is not integral to the quest but if you look its there
3. Is there a way to insert the random skill objects (not sure what they are called). The items that "Require Thievery Skill or Kit" items?

Good point. I sometimes forget that there are thousands of people out there that try to "win" a game instead of just playing it to have fun
2a. Yes you can ADD a random "treasure chest". My recommendation is to do the following:
Create a "HARD" encounter that is a single mob, for instance, Wright Commander (I believe it is spelled correctly - i am doing this from memory). Then customize the skin of this encounter to a "mimic" (the monster that has a shape of a treasure chest). Now you can give out random "treasure chests" that sometimes gives out loot. However, watchout for the bite. HA HA
2b. More serious now. Create a quest, before the end, that states something like, "Collect Reward." Then spawn the above encounter... and put a FX over it to make it glow. Of course, you would need to continue your story... but you get the point
