OK a few problems with the auction house -
number 1 and this is a BIG one; It seems I am not the only one who has bought or bid for items on the Auction house and then have the Astral Diamonds taken from your account only to never recieve the items in the mail - THIS IS A BIG PROBLEM - it's not like the AD are cheap, if you want us to pay the high prices for AD's then you have to ensure we get what we have paid for - or the money is returned.
number2; The filtering at the Auction house is FAR from correct when ever you try to search an item at a certain level range it doesn't work and gives you items from all levels it seems. Now it's hard enough for people to search for things with so many people placing things on BID - (WHY A 4 DAY BID? By the time the bid comes through you're 5 levels further, please cut this to TOPS 2 days and in fact I would suggest 24 hours) - but if on top of that you can not search items at the correct level it is almost impossible to do a proper search on the Auction house - or at least an effective search.

I know you all have lots of things on your list of things to do, but please give this a bit of thought and a priority patch,

    The AH needs a much better search and filter system.

    In game, it will not sort by level or filter out items not in the range you select (range of 30-35 still pulls in items from the 20's).

    The AH interface from the gateway is even worse! Clicked on the box "Usable by me" while on my GF and it pulled in items for DC.

    If I can't find things easily on the AH, I have no reason to use it.

    What is really sad is that this is my only real complaint with the game. However, it is keeping me from being able to enjoy the content. I have not had great luck with gear (I have only upgraded my pants one and that was with the first set I could craft with Platesmithing), so trying to tank the dungeons is a friggin nightmare! If I could get on the AH and actually find gear, this wouldn't be as big of a deal.

    Got the same problem, yesterday i bid some gloves that should end in next few hours but when im looking now in "my bids" there is nothing, gloves just disappeared just like about 12k of my astral diamonds. I got no information in mail about auction being closed or anything.

    This an extreme problem. I agree with all of the above problems (sorting doesn't work, setting lvl's means nothing, item's I paid for and it said I won never show up in mail) and will add one more. There was an item I really wanted so I was watching the auction count down the last minute. It showed me as winning the auction right up to the expiration of time, but THE AUCTION NEVER FINISHED. When the timer got to 0 it started into negative numbers. When it got to -6 minutes I gave up and logged out. When I logged in later I got notice in the mail that I had been outbid, despite the fact it told me I was winning at the end of the allotted time. I utterly fail to understand why this is so hard for them to get right. Every game out there has a AH, it's not like they are being asked to invent something new. The sorting functions are nothing but standard spreadsheet functions, it's not rocket science.

    As far as I can tell, nothing about the Auction House really works at all.

    Sorting is broken. Filtering is broken. Searching is broken. Actual completion of auctions is unreliable.

    Probably shouldn't have enabled it until a later phase of beta, imho.

    Here is the current workaround for the AH filter. Currently, as well know, the level range filter does not work.

    To get around this, follow these steps.

    1. Select the equipment Tab. DO NOT select any of the sub tabs under equipment such as Main Hand, Off Hand etc etc.
    2. Select your desired Level range
    3. Select an Enchantment modifier such as Offense/Defense/Utility. Select 1 slot. This will help to further limit the range of your search as certain items only carry certain Enchantment slots.
    4. Select your Rarity.
    5. Select your desired stats. Power, Recovery etc etc etc

    It's the only known workaround but it does work quite well. Use it for the meantime.

    It would be nice to see this fixed. If it doesn't work just disable it for now, don't give us a pile of cat scat that can't even sort items by level. Seriously, I can't even comprehend how stupid the guy who's in charge of AH development must be that he can't write simple SQL to sort a database.

    That works and help a lot. AH:s problems is really pain and gaming feeling downer!

    Yeah this and pvp exploits really needs to be adressed.

    It was actually posted by another user and I stumbled upon it using the search the function. It should be stickied though as there are several posts regarding that issue.

    its kinda hard to find equip with lvl range from 6 to 50 when im actually arround 20-30

    @shultzilla - u mean this right? already read it already used it
    still not good coz lvl range with enchantment slot 1 from lvl 20+ - 58 have it
    and desired stat still not good enough with so many equip listed there

    It should be compulsory that all auctions come with a buyout option. Having to wait 4 days and constantly bid on something to stay on top for an item you need right now is ludicrous. Whoever came up with the idea should maybe move departments.

    Fully agree with the filtering issue, i avoid the AH mostly due to how useless it is.
