Please Add Post Counts To Forums

Every single forum for any game I've ever played in there have been post counts under the persons name/info.

Can we get post counts please! Simple request from a simple man.

    Seriously, why do you need a post count other than to use it as some sort of status thing? No one cares how many times you've posted, just the content of your post.

    Helps for folks to discern if somebody is experienced, or is a troll. In relation to obtaining accurate information.

    . . . . . It's still there, just hidden from forum display. To see a post count, left click a username on the forums and choose to view user's posts, then click the user's name anywhere on the following page and you'll be taken to the forum's original profile page where you can see user stats under the About tab.

This was removed when they started merging profiles into Core Connect although I am glad we don't have it enabled on forum display -- as post count is far too often used as a means to troll a user who either has a low post count or a very large post count as well as trolls post useless posts just to try and get their post-count up. Post counts are not Community Building, in my opinion. Once upon a time they were but not anymore.

    Huh. And here I thought reading their posts would do that.

    Anyway, Cryptic forums had post counts once upon a time. They got rid of it. I don't think they're going back.

    Is just another way to recognize people aside from signatures. At the moment its just a giant cluster on forums. I do appreciate you responding back, but I'd still like to see it be put in. Adds more personality to forums.

    Right. That's what we need. More asshats claiming they have more posts so what they say should carry more weight. No thanks.

    Why would they edit out pictures? I didn't join this game to be <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font>'d off forumquest. Totally confused trying to liven up the forums so they are more exciting.

    It's not like your pic carry an insight, a fact or important thing. You pretty much spam and act offended they don't allow you to do it. I don't get how your pic "liven up the forums" as this thread will get in the lower depths soon, and ill be more than fine with it.

    pics dont make it more "exciting" lol. no one wants to see useless pics such as the one you posted, all you're doing is annoying us

    More knowledgeable about the game.

    Status of any kind except as the mod mentioned, for periodic excuse to belittle or berate someone for the amount, or lack thereof.

    I run/ran/administer/designed several forums for various entities over the years, and that feature was often not wanted, removed, or asked to not be included.

    As an example, multiple one liners by the OP with the pictures, contribute nothing to the forum, but <would> inflate a post count. Useless number. <shrug>

    Speaking of inflated egos and unnecessary information, can we get charts that display DPS/healing/damage numbers at the end of dungeon runs?
