1. Victor - Dwarf Control Wizard
2. Oak - Drow Guardian Fighter
3. Conan - Halfling Great Weapon Fighter
4. Reginald - Half-Orc Trickster Rogue
None of these characters are optimal race/class combinations, but I don't feel like I'm behind others whose racial stat modifiers match their classes. I have two more character slots left, and one of them is probably going to be a Devoted Cleric, but I'm not sure which race. Any suggestions?
What about you? Do you play unusual race and class combinations?
Hehe I'm the same, it's fun to break the mold. My favorite race is the dwarf, so I'm making dwarf everything. As for it making much of a difference, I really don't think an extra few percent health, damage or whatever is going to make a big difference in the end.

For the others I would agree with you, but HO is actually probably the most min-max race for TR as you can get +2 to both DEX and STR at character creation as well as +5% crit severity. None of the other classes benefits are quite as good since Rogues tend to go for high crit chance, although Humans are another good choice with their extra defense and feats, as are Tieflings with their debuff on hit and extra damage to enemies below 50% health.
But overall, HO seems to be the best choice for TR.

Was thinking of a Half-Orc Rogue, but I dunno.
Was thinking of a Half-Elf Ranger whenever it gets added.
