So this is the attack that almost 1 shoted me? I was running to a point when all of a sudden 12k dmg.

Totaly balanced of course.

No nerfs needed here.

1) It's a daily. It's a daily in which the damage scales with how much health remains on someone's bar. Even if it said it hit you for 1,000,000, it would have the same effect as hitting you for 5k most of the time. Also, I've never seen it hit for more than like 18-20k in PvP (on guys with like 10% health left). The 47k crit was from PvE, definitely.
2) Control Wizard's Ice Knife is still more powerful, as it hits me for around 14-16k without having the "remaining health dependency,' which is more than enough to take like 80% of my hp.

I was at about 70% health, and it nearly killed me.

I was lucky cause the rogue was dumb and just stood there, letting me use Forgemaster's Flame.

And even as a daily, skill should not be so powerful, i don't think the TR is lacking in the damage department.

Thankfuly 9/10 TR's are bad, but even thos bads can suddenly screw you over with a lucky crit.

I was just making an observation, no need to get defensive.

Not getting defensive, just trying to explain to get rid of misinformation. Shocking Execution hits for like 5-8k if your health is around 70% or above, which would be significantly less than Ice Knife (for example). If it's used from stealth and it crits on someone with 50% health or lower, it should kill you.

It takes quite a bit of work for us to get enough AP to even pull off a daily in PvP though. It's not /that/ great.

Also, we got ninja nerfed so... it's kind of all we've got left at the moment.

None of your claims means squat without videos to prove it. Screenshots don't cut it either because if the person is at 1% health left, you'll obviously do some insane damage since the skill is based on how much health the opponent has left.

I believe it. It's sad though. Once they nerf this skill, rogues will just be a squishier version of GWF at level 60. Right now, the only thing the rogue has going for them is their daily. Too bad people don't understand it's a team game.

besides, cw ice knife is just as powerful and knocks you on the ground for several seconds if you happen to survive. getting hit by one of those after a ray of enfeeblement is a death sentence from full health. plus cw has arcane singularity which can make the difference when fighting over a point for you WHOLE team, not just a single target burst.

cleric can use hallowed ground which can turn an entire fight as well, especially if also in combo with astral shield and that makes MUCH more of a difference than a single target dps burst.

the current pvp mode is -not- about who gets more kills but who gets more towers for the longest, in that department clerics are the most OP class as they can make fights unwinnable for the other team.

81869crit_zps168c04f3.png
PvE: 81869
PvP: ~25k

GS: Around 7700.
Build: Fail build - damage will be improved once I get to respec.
Gear: PvP gear with no enchantments during that time.
Victim: 2nd boss in Epic Cloak Tower. The ravenous guy.

As previous replies mentioned, the skill is based off the target's health. The lower it is the more damage you get. Don't forget to buff up with Invocation, potions, buffs from cleric and do it in stealth mode and having better equipments.

rogue = gwf

gwf have 2 potential knockdowns, one is a daily

rogue = burst, stealth, clone, silence (aoe), stun (aoe), sustained damage, dodge mechanic, roll mechanic to escape/chase, can attack at range or melee

most definitely the same class

all rogues are ****tards

Today on my CW I got hit with it for 34k. :D But I also turn around later and hit the same rogue with Ice Knife on a lucky crit for 17.4k.

I'm a fresh 60 in crappy greens and today was my first day PvPing, to put it in perspective.

Got it somewhere on my stream videos. Just need to highlight them too lazy =.='

Edit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFtErAaVI5g or http://twitch.tv/kawingshek/c/2270072

The duelist flurry doesn't stack the damage does it ? I mean it pops up in a a new crit damage number once that 14k flurry was gone.

However the crit severity stacks from Deadly momentum +15% crit severity.

You're funny. You just proved to everyone that the skill is working as intended. You hit the guy with shocking execution when he had under 15% health left. The skill's damage is based on how much health left the target has to guarantee a kill when the opponent is at low health. How about you go show us a video of your 80K+ crit on somebody with full health. NOBODY on this forum has yet.

No, You're funny.

1. Read the thread's title:" Your highest crit with shocking execution"
2. You should already know that I was talking about my PvE damage and not PvP that I stated on previous post.
3. I'm not blind , I can read the skills information.

I was just trying to show my highest crit with it and not about PvP because I don't give a **** about if it's op or not.

So you reply to a post to make it seem like you're proving that the skill is OP, but when I point out that you did the attack on a target with under 15% health, you change your argument to say that you have none? Okie dokie. My bad.

I've just decided to not bother about people like you anymore. Either I lost my brain cells to be able to read what the thread is all about or you're just being a troll.

It's obvious that no one can do 80k damage on a fully health player. But this thread isn't about that is it? Once again the thread title says it all: "Your highest crit with shocking execution"

There are no rules in what condition the target is in, either low health or high health. I was simply sharing my maximum crit damage with the skill as what the OP said.

I'm not against it nor am I favoring the skill since it requires AP to perform it. People say it's overpowered but I don't give HAMSTER about the skill because I only use it in PvE is what I was meant to post in previous post. I'm not saying anything about the skill is being op because you are one of those who cry about people want the skill to be nerfed.

If it's going to be changes then adapt to it or play with a different skill.

Tenkuro - why the hate?

We're just here to stroke some epeens and see what everyone's experience has been. It has nothing to do with the skill being overpowered or whatever. That's in a lot of other threads if you want to discuss it. This is just to show how big you have seen your numbers. XD
