GWF vs TR and CW

Damage - The GWF is a bit behind on damage when it comes to PvP or PvE. Buffing the At-Wills and single target Encounters would solve this issue.

Crowd Control - Our crowd control is atrocious compared to CW and Rogues. Rogues and CW both have about 10+ seconds worth of CC in the skills they use compared to GWF 3 or so seconds.

Survivability - This is probably the most balance out of the 3 keys and needs very minor tweaking.

If any of you have suggestion in ways to make the class comparable to the TR and CW in PvP/PvE just right it below.

Damage is more like alot behind. I own a TR and GWF and i can say the GWF does nothing compared to the TR. Even when in an AOE situation, GWF will fail. I can basically kill 3 enemies 2x as fast as gwf with my TR, even though GWF is supposed to be AOE

Is your TR and GWF at 60 doing epic runs? I've seen a lot of GWF topping charts with all of their AOE dmg. I am only going off what I see on streams n such so I am just curious.

GWF has better AoE damage than TR and is has comparable AoE damage with CW.
GWF's single target damage is a joke, insanely low compared to TR and very low compared to CW.
Only thing GWF can do single target is a decent burst but zero sustainability.
As far as CC, I think GWF has a decent amount for a fighter. A few knockdowns and stuns/slows is pretty much all you can expect. One thing he needs for sure is a buff to survivability and single target dps.

As long as you don't single target dps better then a TR with a damage build or tank better then a GF with a tanking build....

Early game damage is extremely low compared to other classes, and long cooldowns on early encounters hurt GWF in sustained 1v1 scenarios.
AOE, even early on, is kind of acceptable. The Reap-Not-Leap cycle will clear minions without a lot of difficulty. But against non-minions, GWF face an uphill battle.

One of my ideas: Flip the placement of Destroyer and Bravery. Destroyer does NOTHING for us at low levels. A full stack will net you maybe +3-5 damage on your leap. Big whoop. The Deflection and movement speed of Bravery, alongside an increase to Sure Strike would help our 1v1s.

GWF: AoE DPS or Single target burst with cooldowns. Not good for sustained damage.

TR: Terrible AoE DPS, great burst and sustained single target

CW: OK AoE, OK Single target, Great control.

Please dont try to make them all equal, they have things they are all good at.

A bit of a necro, but GWF's are fine. They have far more survivability than TR's and CWs, and have strong AoE and single target damage. They're best in PvP, but they're fine to clear any T2s. Player > Gear > Class
